So apparently France 2 is preparing another 'Le Grand Show', this time entirely dedicated to Céline.

 

· The show will be recorded during Céline's stay in Paris for the tour.

· Though there's not a broadcast date yet, it will probably be on air between late August and early September.

· Both Céline's team and France 2 had expected to film the show much earlier for a Spring broadcast, but René's passing and the postponement of Céline's French album put it on hold.

For what I've understood, she'll film her appearance in a special program of 'Le Grand Show' next week (don't know if she'll be in Paris to film it or if they'll record a video). This special will be dedicated to cinema and an air date hasn't been announced yet.

 

Then, later this month she'll have a full special program of 'Le Grand Show' entirely dedicated to her, just like the one from 2012. This one will be broadcast on TV between late August and early September, coinciding with the release date of her new album.

That's kind of the concept of the program. So expect duos. What's good about new duos is that there's no lipsynching. The so-called artists are more to be found at the Star Academy. One cannot call Johnny Hallyday or Patrick Bruel so-called artists.

I do not know about others but I quite liked the lip sync of river deep.. At the end specially lol she was having so much fun with the fans

What they did in that show with "les 500 choristes" was something nice. They did something new with Céline's songs, and the duet between Céline and Johnny and the energetic choir behind was really a heart stopper moment

Yes but it is cool when Céline sings a song she has never sung. I prefer that over her singing the songs we already know.

Of course, it is a JJG song. Céline was geat in it. It was not lipsynched. "L'amour peut prendre froid" was lipsynched.

So it seems That Céline performed "Encore Une Soir", "Pour que tu m'aimes encore", "Les Yeux Au Ciel" and "Ordinaire" as a Duet with Robert Charlebois

Also, Does anyone know if this is the show where Celine also wears a black, short, leather dress and ponytail?

 

If so, I hope the leather dress is featured in the show aswell because I'm not a big fan of the frumpy black and gold dress. It's nice enough for a quick performance I guess, but I like the edgy, sexy leather look more.

 

I'm guessing the show will be airing soon. Hopefully we find out some info in the next week or so.
