Maybe, just maybe, they're doing what I always thought would be a good idea. Releasing both French and English albums in tandem.

This event will take place in between the European and Canadian legs of the upcoming tour.

 

Hopefully Celine will sing some fun up-tempo songs, and maybe a live medley of her hits? One can dream lol

It´s always great news when she is doing concert out of Vegas. I don ´t think she will sing something new, it´s like she is near NY in that time so she is doing that.

It's a bit strange that, geralmene who participates in this program are artists who will release a new single and a new album, Céline has no product launch in English to be released this year, dwarf unless they change their minds and cast the two albums together.

Whether they are surprising us with the English album sooner that we thought, or whether she is getting out there "just because," I am really happy about this. I hope we keep getting more surprises like this, even if it's just to remind the U.S. market how amazing Céline is..

 

I think LCMM is probably a given, but it would also be great to get a new performance of TTWII. I could possibly even see her doing Kiss or Purple Rain as a tribute to Prince. I know everyone here is sick of it, but I also think a great *live* performance of BYLM dedicated to the fans/Rene could be lovely. I can just imagine everyone singing along. And maybe if we're really lucky, we'll get something new!

It's because her contract at Caesar's won't let her, she is based at caesar's, so she sings there for her big concerts.

She did not need to launch an album now, you can release a single, or one or two songs.

I'm literally watching The Today Show right now and they just made a big deal about it. They said, "Rocking the plaza this summer we have Puff Daddy, Jessica Simpson, and get this Céline Dion!" And then the other co-anchors were like "wow Céline!"

I don't think this has anything to do with an English album. I think Celine wants to keep busy and Aldo is taking this opportunity to keep Celine in people's minds. She may be performing in Vegas but the US don't see that much of her outside of Caeser's, so this is a nice way for her to stay in the public eye on national TV.

 

If only she would do more one-off things like this!
