Good to know. In the past, you could get front row for 250. If you didn't buy a VIP package, the top was 250. Then it went up to 500. I had front row tickets at 250. Show was cancelled. I had to pay 500 each to get my same tickets back when shows started again. I understand both sides of the argument for raising ticket prices and I am not complaining on my own behalf because if I want to I can still get a ticket I like (if anything, with less competition). But, there are people who decide to see the show last minute because they happen to be in town. I hope that overall it doesn't hurt attendance. In terms of money, maybe less people attending will be balanced out by increased prices. But, in terms of the energy of the show, a packed house is always better. I have seen shows at the Coliseum with largely empty sections. It just isn't the same. I wonder if this is her idea (meaning her and her team) or Caesar Palace's idea due to demand? EDIT: I just noticed though they added cheaper tickets too! So you can now get a seat at 55.00 which I can't ever remember really. So hopefully that will help balance out any attendance issues as long as those seats do not sell out first. So at least half way down aisle seat or just in and you could definitely have a chance. Quote
