I don't support Celine no matter what. Since 2011 and "Celine" I don't support covers they have been including over and over again. I don't care about covers. I want a Celine Dion concert to be a Celine Dion concert.

 

But you don't want her to be an 'artist' and use a song to convey a message that she obviously needs to share?! A song that means something to her at this moment, in what she's going through? Come on. I can't believe there can be any criticism of her after she's back performing A MONTH after her husband and brother died.

"She has spent the past few days supervising a 15-minute “Love Tribute” to Rene Angelil, her late husband and manager that will kick off her return to her Colosseum at Caesars Palace residency tonight.

 

Celine describes it as “a trip down memory lane” with photos, videos and his favorite songs that she’ll sing. As of this morning, she was putting on the finishing touches.

 

Millions of fans around the world will be able to watch her heart-wrenching tribute to Rene, who died after losing his long, grim battle against throat cancer Jan. 14 here in Las Vegas. Tonight’s salute to Rene will be live streamed on CelineDion.com from Caesars as of 7:30 p.m. PT and is 15 minutes."

 

 

Tonight, though, fans and faithful will see her and hear from her for the first time in public. “It’s going to be an extremely emotional night,” one of her inner circle told me. “The production aspects were still being worked out late last night.”

 

It is not known if this new, special opening will be repeated for fans who have tickets for her current run of shows through mid-March. It is not known if Celine will decide that the tribute will only be tackled tonight.

 

“It is all very difficult for her,” I was told. “She’ll make the final decision herself as to whether it’s just once or if it will continue for the next few shows. Tonight will be telling. It may be too heartbreaking for her to do it more than once.

 

“But it was her wish to have the tribute start tonight’s show. It’s her way of saying thank you from both of them for the massive outpouring of love from fans.

 

“Don’t be surprised if later we discover that this was another one of Rene’s wishes he wanted fulfilled after he died and one he encouraged her to do before he passed.”

 

It also is unknown what Celine will say and what songs she will perform this evening. Often, even after she’s written notes, she will go off script and ad lib her remarks.

They may turn the page, not turn the page, approve or disapprove, but the show must go on, cuz business is business, Patrick is pretty much aware of that, I'm sure. That simply shows that some fans do not understand fully that when Celine sings 'The Show Must Go On' she does it for a reason, not for being pompous. For her those words 'the show must go on' have a meaning. The carousel never stops turning, right?

I couldn't have said it myself. That song sounds SO much better now then it did during the TCWT. She has so much more emotion behind it, and I can hardly imagine how it will sound now.

I drove my way to work and thinking that how would Celine carry on the entire show with all the fun, cheering mode during those fastbeat songs like she used to be ......then i got the answer right away.....Rene might had shared with Celine before his departure that, no matter what happen, we do not bring out sadness to all the people that we loved, so no matter what the show must go on without any sorrow mood as Rene will be up there watching Celine and the family ............so Celine all the best for tonight show....cant wait for the livestream of the opening.
