Always thought it was the judging panel that hated us. It's actually Joe Public - certainly an eye opener 😢

For us it's the other way round. But for public, we'd be second to last.

Your song was very good. My favorite along with Austria! I was glad both countries were inside the Top 10 of people's votes.

Juries are an embarrassment to the contest.

Poland has been judged by juries last or second to last 3 years in a row, we're slowly getting used to that. Thank God for the public vote. :)

Never has a winning song this bad. It is not about music but just politics! What a shame. Why even bother sending a great song

The ukraine had the worst song ever to win the contest. Maybe this song has a message and did it win to go against russia..but this is not about music clearly...

I know the ESC is totally unpredictable, but Ukraine becoming the winner is just disappointing. :wtf:

Dissapointing is an understatement. Never it became more clear that this festival is not about music at all. Countries that vote for their neighbour countries and now a political statement disquised as the most awful song with an even awful singer. Of course we will never hear this song never again on the radio. And we cannot sing it along.

And why does Australia compete as well? They are not even Europe! Although their song was definately a pleasant surprise.

I wish Australia won rather than Ukraine, their song was much better. Jamala's song might be good enough in itself, but for me it's NOT a winning material.

Sorry this is not a matter of taste anymore: this girl cannot sing. And a melody..where is a melody? And the weird rhytm in the background?? Yes this song does have a emotional message but that does not change the fact that this is not only awful singing but the song itself is a total disaster as well! You are a Celine Dion fan so you know when someone can sing. There is no denying that this singer can't.

The best of the show was Justin Timberlake and why is Australia in the Eurovision?

If the EBU (who run eurovision) vote for a certain country to have the choice to participate, then that country can. Yes outside of Europe. Australia isn't the only non euro. You'd have to consider the likes of Israel, Azerbaijan, Tunisia etc who regularly participate. Although if Australia had won it would have been hosted by another country in Europe so Europeans can watch it at a decent hour lol.

Hey ho - third from last. What a surprise. Can't wait for us to leave the EU and let everyone get on with it all, and we can get our country on the up again. 😀

she can't sing... you're kidding right?

yes, I'm Celine fan but I also happen to be fan of music in very large spectrum. Mostly alternative scene. I also happen to be musician and music producer working in studios with vocalists on daily basis. And I also happen to have my opinion so here it is: She was outstanding! ;)

peace and love

.The quality this year was good. Many songs were good but this was definately the worst. Well i guess it is a matter of opinion.

Yes peace and love. The message behind this song is emotional and i understand the singer wants to bring this to the table and it is good she did that. But to vote for that song only because of that and other political reasons. I think this really proves the eurovision songcontest is not about music at all.

Ah come on..she was very very offkey last night. She is a very bad singer. There are times i can be wrong but this was a total disaster and hurting for the ears. And i am not the only one that heard that. Look on twitter for example and read the reactions. The quality this year was good. Many songs were good but this was definately the worst. Well i guess it is a matter of opinion.

yes, she was bit off but not to the point of hurting my ears ;) very emotional. It touched me and many others. And I don't care about the message. I don't have to read comments to have my opinion either. We all have one. I trust my ears. Performance is not only about singing top notch. Tribute to France by our girl is a perfect example. There were few really good songs last night that deserved to win I admit. Tough choice but all and all I'm glad she won. And of course I respect your opinion. Who did you like the most?

Well i also think it is western european taste against eastern european taste.

Anyway; i liked Austria. Australia. Belgium, holland, and the girl with the flowers hanging around her and greenish background ( trees(

England,

But my vote goes to Australia. She had an interesting song with powerhouse vocals. I could Celine see singing such a song. She reminded me of Lady gaga.

And our own contestant, douwe bob had the most relaxing country song without all special effects.

Russia had stupid lyrics and a song that sounded very cliche and a song would have been this far without the sophisticated videoscreen.

yeah, Australia was good. I can hear Celine in that kind of production big time! That's why I keep telling that Celine's team should open their minds a little and give a chance to young unknown producers who'd take her voice where it's never been before...

Seriously don't tell me you actually think the UK will be better off outside the European Union :jawdrop: Leaving the EU will be a disaster not a resolution.
