Looking at all of the press photos from last night of Celine and RC makes me think that RC must be around 5'10-5'11. He's almost as tall as Celine when she's wearing heels...and she was always around the same height as Rene with heels on and Rene was around 6'0 tall if I am not mistaken. (before he got a bit older of course) Rene's older boys, Patrick and Jean-Pierre, seem to be well over 6'0...maybe 6'1 or 6'2.

I know, I didn't expect that to happen. I've seen some people make gross comments about him on Twitter since he's only a minor. But I'm sure Celine's got all of that on check. It seems she keeps up since she mentioned the articles about him "rebelling" in the 7 jours interview (I think it was that one)

 

Last time I saw his twitter, it was at about 4000 and it's halfway to 5000 but his instagram blew up!

It was believed that Rene's height was 1.82 m, 6'0". I think Rene's height was mentioned in his biography or something and it's been mentioned on another website somewhere. I can't remember what site.

 

There are many pictures where Celine looks a couple of inches taller then Rene, even in the late 90's when Rene was alot younger. This hasn't been proven but supposedly Annie Horth told someone on twitter that Celine is 5'9" without heels. I would believe that since Annie must have to measure Celine all the time to get the proper fit in her clothes.

 

That would also add up with her sometimes being a couple of inches taller then Rene in heels. Here are some examples.

 

Even in this picture, Celine isn't wearing heels. I know she had flip flops on that day and there were many moments when she wasn't even wearing anything on her feet that day. In this pic Rene doesn't look any more then 3 inches taller then Celine.

Judging from pictures and from Annie's Supposed answer of 5'9" being Celine's height on twitter. I would even say that Celine is 6'1" to 6'2" in heels. Sometimes maybe even 6'3" in her most extreme heels like those one's she was sporting in the recent french interview with the floral outfit.

 

Going by all that, I think RC is 5'11" or 6'0" tall.

And the quote from Celine was the topper. I don't hold him back. He"s young and wild and must live.

Next thing they will post the pic with Rihanna stating RC's under-age love affair. Quoting Celine "I let my son make his own choices. I will support him no matter what"

I'm proud of R.C., but have mixed emotions about all of the publicity. He's still so young and does not need a spotlight on him. I know Celine and Rene were both very good at maintaining a private life while being open, so I hope that this will be the case for him as well.

 

Yeah, I hope it doesn't go to his head! But then again, this is a kid who pretty much grew up on Oprah and graced magazine covers since conception, and seems he turned out just fine despite all the attention. Celine seems to know how to keep him real.

My guess is that Celine & Rene at some point decided that at 15 years old it is time to let RC be exposed to and step into public life a bit more - to be honest with his parents it was probably always going to be inevitable! But she & Rene maybe decided that he was old enough and mature enough to deal with it (he certainly seems to be!) and introduce him more gently to all the publicity that will inevitably surround him. I trust Celine to know her son well enough to ensure that he won't get into any difficult situations.

There is a new pic of them together on instagram, holding a plate of food. It can be found under #celinedion.

 

It really does show how much RC has grown these past couple of years, when you compare the pic from a few years ago with this new one. Wow. I thought he was grown back then.

 

I wonder who that guy is? He must be big in golf, because I only ever see him in golf pictures. In the new pic of him with RC, they are both wearing matching striped shirts. Hope someone is able to post it to the forum.

The guy in the blue shirt was a very close friend of Rene's, he was a professional hockey coach. His name is Michel Bergeron.

I don't know how you feel about it but it's actually quite sad and disappointing for me that Celine said that RC speaks French but not necessarily knows how to write and read in French. I know French is difficult but I thought that since it's their everyday language from the very beginning he would know it better.

And then yesterday, someone ran into RC in a parking lot in Irvine, CA (he's there for a hockey tournament), and he was wearing their T-shirt! How cool!
