Part of me is really hoping TCOML will be instrumental. 😢

 

I think it will be at the "Celebration Of Life" tonight but, I truly believe it will be added to the show and Celine will sing it when her show resumes. I just have a feeling that it will be the final encore after MHWGO instead of " Somwhere Over The Rainbow".

And I can't recognize Céline. Is she standing on the stage or sitting in the right corner of that picture??

 

I'm pretty sure she won't wear a veil tonight. This is only convenent for a funeral. But it's possible that she still will wear something black.

 

I defiantly think she will either wear a Black or Grey tonight which is expected of course since she's still in mourning.

 

In my culture Arabic way, the spouse of the deceased wears black for 40 days after the funeral as a symbol of mourning.

It is NOT spelled wrong ! It's the non-American spelling which Rene specifically requested. Check her album cover !

As far as I read it in Robin Leach's article, David Foster will only play the melody:

As there hadn't been English subtitles @ the livestream of the funeral I doubt there will be French subtitles. Mainly because it's live transmission.

He looks like Rene. Creepy that you mentioned it cause I hadn't noticed. Celine is the second person you see in the row.

In Greece, the spouce of the deceased wears black for more days, usually for a year or even more. Depends on how much she mourns (or how much she wants to SHOW that she is mourning ). Older women have the tedency to wear black for the rest of their lives. I think Celine will just be wearing dark colours for the next months. I noticed she wore gray before her brother's funeral, so she got rid of total black quickly which is nice, as I find the move of wearing a certain colour a bit superficial. Going to be strange watching this as (for me) it's Feb 4th and therefore the 3rd anniversary of my dad's passing.

Am I the only one nervous for Celine's speech? Also, I am happy that they shared the link to leave our condolences to Celine and family. I already shared mine. Don't know that she'll have the time to read everything there bit that way we can show her the love!

So tonight's the night we've all been dreading.. Seeing Celine will set us all off in tears, I'm sure. I really shouldn't be staying up as for me it starts at 3am but like a lot of us, I feel that I have to. I watched the wake, the funeral and I feel that I have to watch for Celine. Maybe that sounds stupid but I really want to watch it to just send all the love possible. The fact that they've let us all be a part of everything means so much to me as I know it does to everyone else not able to physically be there. We are blessed as fans to be able to come here and support/comfort each other and also to give Celine the love and support she deserves right now. I'm sure tonight will be beautiful and Celine will will feel the love from all of us.

Not sure what this post is really about tbh :/ just very thankful to be here with all of you and to be there for for Celine tonight ♥
