Celine will appear on Michael Buble's Christmas in Hollywood Special

There is still hope the album will climb higher on the Holiday charts this year after the Michael Bublé special airs. However, it is also going to need help from her team, too. They still need to release the rest of the audio videos on her Vevo and YouTube accounts to ALL territories. This way, they can use them on her social media platforms throughout the rest of the month. Examples:

 

Post to her site, Twitter and Facebook on Christmas Eve with the audio video of "Christmas Eve."

Post to her site, Twitter and Facebook on Christmas Day with "The Magic Of Christmas Day (God Bless Us Everyone)"

Post to her site, Twitter and Facebook on New Years Eve (or Day) with "Another Year Has Gone By"

Post behind the scenes photographs of the photoshoot for the "These Are Special Times" album on Instagram.

Ask Celine to perform "Another Year Has Gone By" at the end of her shows on 12/30, 12/31 and 01/02 (and maybe 01/06) instead of "Over The Rainbow" or "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face."

Release a limited edition "digital single" on iTunes and Amazon Music for "I Met An Angel (On Christmas Day)." Furthermore, add the song exclusively to iTunes as part of a "Digital Deluxe Edition" of the album "These Are Special Times."

 

There. Bam! Done. And that didn't even require all that much effort. IF her team wanted to put a bit more effort into promoting the album (like Kelly Clarkson's team has done this year with the lyric video for "My Favorite Things"), they could put together some lyric videos for "O Holy Night," "Don't Save It All For Christmas Day," "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)" and/or "Blue Christmas."

 

DING DING DING! No more callers! We have a winner! The only other thing I would add is that if she performed "Another Year Has Gone By" to record an official video of the performance and have it available on her Youtube/Vevo channels, Facebook, Twiter, etc. #dreams

Lmao I died when I read that. Only with Celine would firing a stylist make headline news! But it looks like it made Annoe Horth really step up her game. Ever since the AMA's has Celine consistently never looked better. I will leave the 2 wigs she alternates out of this lol.

I was toying with the idea of her singing Oh Come All Ye Faithful... But I see no choir. So I'm ruling that out!

It's definitely The Christmas Song... It's not uptempo (the costume and her pose) and there is no such big emotions if it was O Holy Night/Don't Save It All For Christmas Day nor were there any choirs (ruling out Oh Comme All Ye Faithful, Happy Xmas or Feliz Navidad which require one). And it's not TP or IYA either. There is no other choice I'm afraid... only Blue Christmas is similar to The Christmas Song.... :hmm: Edited by anewdayhascome

hahaha but what about the more younger youthful shorter one that she recently has during the Vegas run? It doesn't seem that moppy like this long tendril'y looking one.

Oh yeah I remember that performance!

I love OCAYF, pity it was not live but loved seeing celine perform it.

 

Anyone knows where I can find those in HD for download?

Channel hopping and came across MB special. Not sure which year though lol. Just had Carly Rae Jepson duet. Now he's doing Cold December Night, but he's miming it 😕bit disappointed.

 

So is Rod Stewart. Performing The Christmas Song btw 😂

Okay. The Disney nut in me has to say something here. It was Walt Disney World, not Disneyland, where Celine performed those two songs. Walt Disney World is in Florida, while Disneyland is in California. Two totally different theme parks and experiences.

Actually I don't really care for that in this particular case. It was a huge surprise to see them performed. In fact, I think I prefer a playback for a first performance and, if ever she sings it again, let her do it live.

I like this song but I want to hear her sing it in a higher key. In the original recording her voice seems kind of hoarse in it, due to the lower key she sings it in.

If we're talking wish lists, I'd love her to sing Another Year Has Gone By. My hands-down favorite from the album, one of my all-time favorite Celine songs. Mellow and meaningful at the same time. I think the only live performances were on Rosie and Letterman back in '98.

 

The chance of her actually singing this on the special is about 1 in 0. But a girl can dream.

I hope not, they are the only 2 songs i always skip on her xmas album. I simply dont synch them at all to my itunes...
