Am I the only one to think her voice sounds really tired and fragile?? Maybe because of her emotions..

 

I was at Antwerp for the opening night and it was much better..

not tired but fragile....it is evident that she is in a process....and she was emotionnal because it was her last Paris show.

If I had to bet on it I'd say in a year from now her voice will be back in tip top shape. It's come a LONG way since her first performance back in February. We have to remember she must still be suffering from a bit of stress..is very emotional....and of course it's only been 6 months. Plus she had to deal with everything going on with Rene for 3 years! It takes a toll on you. I had one week of incredible stress and I could barely get my voice work let alone what she went through! I tend to believe her voice sounded so incredible in August because those shows were FOR RENE! But I think once reality set in for her it took a toll naturally. God, I am so in love with those trumpets in Immensité.

 

However, you are right, her voice seemed a bit "thin" during some moments.

I think this was most obvious during Encore Un Soir.

I thought her voice was a little thin at the beginning but by JTE it was magical. Mellow, golden, warm.

 

I'm gonna miss her not being in Paris. It literally has given her life. I didn't think we'd see her so genuinely happy and enjoying herself. It's been so special.

 

She's incredible. The way she has dealt with everything- she really is an inspiration- she's so strong. So sensible. I love her.

Great to see her perform again live after being there on Thursday night.

 

Annoyed that they decided to showcase a new costume tonight that was not that different at all and of the same colour... Why bother really?

 

For the first time ever during a show, Celine brought me to tears during JTE on Thursday night... It was so emotional, from the heart and watching her eyes during it, just was to much for me! Lol.

 

I am trying to find a video or audio of Thursday nights show for the very end "fly" if anyone can help, as I swear she muttered rene's name at the very end, which was'nt supposed to be heard as it was after the lights went out at the end of he song.

 

Be great to see if the setlist and costume changes in Canada.

 

I think this guy dresses Celine better off stage, but no one can't beat Annie's onstage costumes!!!

I could never really warm to QPVSA because of the lyrics, but musically, it's such a perfect Bond song.

I suppose she's not hot enough now to do a Bond theme, but honestly, surprised that never happened.

I just came back from the show, it was amazing! She looked amazing and her voice was out of this world! She nailed every song. It was amazing to experience a Celine concert in Paris. The crowd was also great!!

Rene Charles was also at the show, he walked through the audience and sat with the sound men. Everyone went filming him, that was a bit sick in my opinion. Leave the boy alone!

Talking about live feed: I'm glad we got 5 instead of 4 songs, she looks and sounds incredible tonight, love her so much :wub:

and god i will miss Celine being in Europe! just this feeling she is on this side of the ocean.. I believe it was very hard and emotional for her, 'to break the ice' with this audience in Paris, but I'm sure this insane support helped her tremendously. And it is still hard for me to believe I was lucky enough to be there, especially on the first show, it was just something so special and unique. I think I would feel a little depressed but great we have so much things to look forward to
