With the recent revival of the topic of a potential "The Collector's Series - Volume Two" (http://www.celinedio...ries-volume-ii/) here on Celine Dion Forum, I decided to make a new and updated thread, complete with a better and updated poll.

 

So, if a new volume of "The Collector's Series" were to be released, which song(s) would you like to see appear on this compilation? Please, vote above and post your responses below!

I agree! Releasing "The Collector's Series - Volume Two" at the very beginning of next year could work well as an accompanying piece to the show. They could add something like "Then You Look At Me" and the full version of "Unison" to the show, add them to the new volume and BAM! Two songs on a new album to use as a promoting tool. Celine wouldn't even have to go into the studio to record them.

 

By the way, which songs did you choose?

AEA is the Spanish version of LEE on the ANDHC album. Originally, Celine was to record an English version of LEE on the album, but because of pronunciation problems, she couldn't record it, and had to change to record a Spanish version.

Curious. I never heard about that. Even if she messed up the pronunciation of some words, I'd still love to hear how an English adaptation of "L'amour existe encore" would sound. Hopefully it sees the light of day, even if all we get is a "demo version".

I don't think it was because of pronunciation, but more of melody. The English lyrics didn't "sound" good. And if I recall correctly, they actually wanted to record it for FIY

The Only references I have are this interview.... Could anyone translate it?

 

 

She didn't say much -- just that Luis Miguel had asked her to do a duet with him -- an English song that was originally in Spanish, and she was happy to because he is a great singer. And she talked about how much she loves duets.

Thanks for the info on that Luis Miguel duet! I am kinda happy it's not released, because the track sounds very dated, even if it was released back then! It's no where near her standards back in 93/94
