It's horrible. I think it's funny how Celine just got through talking about the whole 'over sexed' thing and then this chick takes her shirt off(Why? Idk) and straddles a man in his underwear....to turn him into her? So she can make out with herself? Maybe I'm thinking too hard..or not at all. I just don't like it. Not at all what I would imagine with this song.

I'd rather have her in the dessert waving her arms about and singing into the camera! Like Luke mentioned, I could see him suggesting this concept. 'Ok now Celine you straddle this guy and, oh and wait I got it! make out with yourself...yeah that's it... roll it! :pinch: :angry2:

I agree. That video has to be fake right?

 

Celine doesn't look like she's even in the room. It looks like he is watching her on a t.v. screen. The words spoken between them also don't make sense, like it's a fan made video to trick people into thinking it's the real thing.

I actually do really like this. No, I don't think Celine will be making out with anyone or taking her clothes off.....I don't think that's the idea (that footage is actually from a jeans/denim commercial lol). It's the overall concept of the video that needs to be looked at. While the song's meaning is subjective, depending upon each listener's take on it....she sings about catatonia and voices inside her head. I think the concept is supposed to be her acting outside of herself (not in her normal state of mind).....hence catatonia (if we're sticking to that term/idea......hence the jeans commercial footage). I think it's an interesting take and something she hasn't done before (kinda like the song/album). I think I remember her saying something about being in a coma during the Kimmel interview......if she wants to take that route....it could be some crazy dream she has while in the coma or something to that effect. That's my take on it. :-D Yes, it's out there for a Celine video and while she may not do everything in this video the overall idea is cool.

I love that you understand where he is going with this! ! Not everyone gets it. obviously it will be calmer. but the concept is there
