Actually just about all four of the regular bonus tracks are better than some of the regular edition songs... “Boundaries”, “Heart Of Glass”, and “The Hard Way” all three deserve a spot on the regular edition of the album before, “Lovers Never Die” and others... having said that all the songs are great I just think 3 of the best of the best ended up on the Deluxe version.

Yes but they used common knowledge why would you offer a deluxe version without good song who would buy it? thats the reason they put it on deluxe so people buy that one.

Agree 100%. I think Boundaries, Heart of Glass, The Hard Way and Soul are better than some of the tracks on the standard edition by far!

 

I really like the lyrics of Best Of All too.

Just got a hold of "Soul" in full and it's amazing! I can't believe they saved it for Japan only! Can't wait to receive my Japan CD now!

Ah I can’t change country on my iTunes as I have Apple Music membership and it doesn’t let you change countries without cancelling it...can someone send me the song ‘soul’ please 🙂 it sounds like it’s a dance song from comments here? Was hoping it was a ballad Edited by Allysadreams

For reference, I went back and looked and when I received P!nk's album compared to the tour. So the album itself came out October 2017, I attended that show in March 2018. And my Ticketmaster shipping confirmation for the albums (had 2 tickets) came May 2018 :wtf: That doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies that I'll have this album in hand before I actually attend the show :doh:

 

My only guess is that with all the re-sales, etc. they don't want to send the albums out until ppl actually attend their selected show. Which partially makes sense but at the same time, if it's after the official release date I don't see why they can't just send them all out so people can have a few months to listen and fall in love with it before they attend the show.

 

It must depend on the artist. For example I did Madonna's tour bundle, and I received all my CDs a few days after release date. The tour didn't start until after the album release for anyone though.

 

Also, Ticketmaster resales don't get CDs for any bundle, and it says so on the original offer. It's only valid for the original ticketholder.

I think Best of All gets overlooked too much. It's nice!

Oh, but why is Soul for Japan only?! It's one of the best and her vocals aren't aren't a rough take like most of the rest of the album. This is how you do something modern while doing something different.

The chorus of Soul is already stuck in my head. It’s perfect. Definitely in love with all the bonus tracks!

You're right! Her voice is clear and I like how she sings "maaaaaaaaadness".

I’ve heard soul (Thankyou 😉) it’s pretty good...easily better than some of the tracks from the standard track listing just like Heart of Glass, Boundaries and Best of All.

Now we just need to hear Play Me Like A Love Song 😋 I heard a rumour it might be used in a Celine documentary on Netflix and then the song will be released...someone posted that information on the PMLALS topic on here...not sure of their source though, I’m hoping it’ll be used for Bond but time will tell

Soul is GREAT (Thanks dude!)... but definitely not for the standard version...

I hope this becomes relevant in spite of being only released in Japan.

 

EOM vibes, but different and better in my opinion.. Production is amazing, no cheap or in a rush recording..

It's stuck on my head...

Upon my first listen of the album, the first 3 songs we heard in the EP (and Flying On My Own) along with The Chase/Best of All/Perfect Goodbye/The Hard Way stood out among the other tracks. Took more listens for some other tracks to catch up imo : ) Edited by zeopower6
