Wow....and all we cared about was when was she going to come back. I feel really selfish right about now and I know the decision for her to finish Vegas has been made but after this really if she just wanted to stop forever I wouldn't blame her one bit.

One day she said that maybe the fact of not being able to have babies in normal way could be the price to pay of this career....if she has known...it's awfull. It's like for each happiness you have a price to pay.

I wish them to enjoy life, not to come back on stage in this situation.

I've gone through horrendous health issues myself so I really felt Celine in this clip I understood how she was feeling.

No, it's the March 23rd issue. They didn't have March 30th yet (which I think they always tend to relase what's typically next week this week). I'll look again later to see if I can find anything.

As horrible as they clips seem, don't feel bad for her or them, it's horrible but they don't want pity, they are normal people to and fingers crossed things are on the up for them and they made the decision to return... But what a courageous, loving, inspiring and focused wife, mother, daughter, sister and icon she is... An amazing lady to look up to and confirms why we are her fans and will always support her!

And here we all were criticizing this and that.....and just wanting her to come back. I knew we would get more info when the time is right and she certainly does owe us but yet she still gives it. I her and I really feel for their family. Praying things keep going in a positive direction for them!!

Yeah. As much I want to see her come back, if it's too soon, I wish she wouldn't feel the pressure to come back if that's the case.....

 

If it's for Rene & she feels ready, then I say go for it! If it comforts him to see her doing what she loves maybe it will help. If it turns out his final months are upon us, hopefully this will give him peace and comfort as well.

I happen to agree, I know it's a short clip but it sounds like this is for rene, which I can totally understand. I hope for her mental health its the right choice though.

 

Edit: definitely not pity, my heart just aches for the family is all. I had to take care of my mom until she died and I know how bad it hurts. Not the taking care of part but seeing someone you love in pain and struggling. It takes a lot out of you. So just saying, I understand why doing this for rene is probably something she really wants I just couldn't imagine doing it. I give her much respect

Although I never expressed my concerns about Celine's return after the announcement last week as everyone here was very happy, I was not overly enthusiastic as I felt it was too soon. I had already accepted the fact that Celine would not be returning in 2015 so was surprised to hear this news. After seeing this video, I'm sure she's doing this for Rene and not for any other reason. She looks very thin herself and I hope coming back to Vegas isn't going to make her ill.

 

Having said that, after seeing this video I am also reminded of the positive and caring side of Celine. Wouldn't it be great if she opened her new show with Live For The One I Love? That is the perfect song to describe her situation at the moment

I hope that someone is taking care of her and I say that because it is the caregiver that will crash after all the stress. The caregiver is so caught up in the daily routine of making sure everyone else is taken care of before they are. I know this from personal experience.

 

Maybe getting back on stage will relieve some of her stress, and Rene's also.

Well you can live for a very long time on calorie packs etc, that is not an indication of having months to live! And maybe she needs her own escape from this, some time for her and this is why she wants to return to some normality and do something she enjoys.

It's difficult to watch this. With all the excitement about her return, it was easy to forget why she'd been away. Watching this, I'm not as hopeful as I was. I've sensed for a long time that she sings for Rene. Watching this, it would seem her return to the stage is also for Rene. I might be wrong but this video does not suggest that he is on the mend. Of course there are also financial and contractual commitments but these will be secondary. I just hope he hasn't asked her to return for "one last song".

Huh...I was looking at the March 30th issue and it had: the Jenner guy & his problems, Sound of Music 50th anniversary, and the Bachelor update. So it makes me wonder if its April's issue.
