Darling it's the EUROVISION, there will ALWAYS be controversies! What I found most strange was that Austria got no points at all! The song was not that bad! And for a host country it's very humiliating not to get any point! I don't get why Latvia with Love injected got so many points. I didn't like the song at all. Israëls song wasn't really that good to get so high, but I do like the fact they incorporated Arabic sounds in their song. I think Sweden won because of the amazing act they presented. I really can't remember any of the song, but I remember the Visuals. BUT this is a SONG contest, so I hope this won't be the trend And I must add that Russia had the best song of the night! The act was nice and the singer was very good! But because the song is the complete opposite of what Russia's human rights policy is, it's damn right it didn't win! Though I would have loved to see how Russia would have handled this GAY party in their country... Maybe it's a missed opportunity, to get the discussion going again... Beside Italy (For which I didn't really care because it's just like Il Divo but then with young kids, it doesn't bring anything new) all the major contributing countries ended in the bottom. I think this problem could and should be solved easily; let those countries perform during the break of the semi finals! Of course they show snippits, but I think if they performed their song in full too, people will remember them and also vote for the song (if good of course) in the finals! I hope Australia was just a one thing. It's fun for them but it's not exactly Europe One last note, for a 60th anniversary Eurovision, I thought the show itself was quite boring! Denmark did a much better job last year!
