You know, it's not that I liked the song from France that musch or the singer but I think it deserved something better. I'm not fond of the song from Sweden to be honest but neither I loved #2 which was Russia. So... Say it out loud Quote Love comes to those who believe it...

browseceline Posted May 23, 2015 at 11:54 PM Posted May 23, 2015 at 11:54 PM Can anybody tell me in here why italy ended so high and the incredible song by greece ended so low. Same for romania? Italy was a bad copy of il divo and there were many other countries that delivered great songs. And once again but more then ever countries gave their neighbouring countries votes, even if the song was crap. When are people finally gonna vote with their heart and vote for the best song? 1 Quote <iframe width="640" height="390" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hl2XkxnYljg" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Davey84 Posted May 24, 2015 at 12:29 AM Posted May 24, 2015 at 12:29 AM I must say for a 60th anniversary the show was pretty boring! Last year was much better. I also thought most of the songs weren't that exciting too... I agree with Italy. It didn't bring anything new and I don't get why Latvia got so many points either! I expected Australia to get way more points too. This is my top 5: AustraliaBelgiumFranceEstonia Serbia And out of my top 5 because it's Russia...Russia I don't get why France didn't get so few points! The song and performance was really good! I liked the use of the screen too! Plus it was written by JJ's brother (also responsible for JSP) so common! I must say I didn't like Sweden that much. Yes the act was amazing, but I can't sing a line of the song if my life depended on it! And IMO it should be about the song itself not the visuals 1 Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th

Yes the act was amazing, but I can't sing a line of the song if my life depended on it! And IMO it should be about the song itself not the visuals amen! and let's face it, the guy singing it is just as important, looked like a moviestar or photomodel! Sweden had visuals that were different but the song itself was not that fantastic. Latvia did some nice things like the coming up of the female singer. It was a nice song. But again, there were many great songs like Warrior, the song from Greece, Romania, Russia was my favorite this year with their amazing powerballad. But the problem is, Russia singing about peace in the world, though they have a history. Does not make it better for Polina, who sang her heart out and got boo-ed again when given points. She did a great job though and she can't help the politics in her country.About France, I was not impressed by the song nor her voice, but the visuals were breathtaking! I said it several times that Holland really failed in that part. We could have made impressive visuals too! There was enough time to deliver something jawdropping. And Belgium, this guy is really a great singer and his psychedelic song is really fresh and hot. Also his choreography was very interesting. Well deserved winner and should have been on the third place instead of Italy. Are there so many people who like Il Divo.. is that the reason why it ended so high? Jeff Abbott Posted May 24, 2015 at 08:03 PM Posted May 24, 2015 at 08:03 PM (edited) I kind of expected Sweden would eventually win. I'm glad my favourites Latvia and Belgium were appreciated, too bad for Albania but Elhaida once again sang in off-key. The booing of Russia was so lame, I felt so sorry for Polina, that was uncalled for and rude. Can you imagine what would happen if Russia actually won? The crowd's reaction would not be very nice (let's put it this way). #teampolina 100% Spain and France got screwed and so did Greece. Edurne finishing 21st - that was like a bad joke. btw, if public televoting was only taken into consideration, then Italy would be the winner, Sweden's 1st place was boosted by professional juries. http://wiwibloggs.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Screen-Shot-2015-05-24-at-14.43.31.png Edited May 24, 2015 at 08:20 PM by Jeff Abbott 1 Quote

anewdayhascome Posted May 25, 2015 at 01:03 PM Posted May 25, 2015 at 01:03 PM (edited) Hmmm I'm surprised that Germany got 0 points. That song was really good. I don't get why nobody noticed that! It could have won in my opinion. I don't understand Latvia'a high position as it was one of the worst songs in the contest. It was just awful   and Belgian singer was also dull with all those facial expressions On the bright sight though, I have to admit that I enjoyed more or less the whole concert. Finally there were normal songs, with instruments, less theatrics, less computer music/voice and less kitch. Boy Posted May 25, 2015 at 05:15 PM Posted May 25, 2015 at 05:15 PM The song from Greece reminded last year's winning song, btw. Really. Same James Bond vibe, especially closer to the end. This lade from Greece has a great voice, indeed yet for some reason I wasn' mesmerized by 'One Last Breathe'. But at the very moment I'm listening her song and I find this quite nice P.S. Russia might've been even higher but for the antigays issues. I was born in Russia, I live in the neighbour country yet I'm aware of what's going on in Russia, in Belarus as well. Homophobia is a very light, happy & bright word when it comes to these countries cuz it's even WORSE than homophobia. I would have preferred if Russia and Polina won; but I am happy for Mans though ... I am shocked by the low points for Spain and France ... I was shocked at first too, but if you think about it it makes sense: The judges (I think a good part of the points that go for each country is decided by professional judges) are not stupid: Although Edurne's performance was one of the best Spain has sent in years, it didn't take them too long to realize that the formula is almost a copy of Loreen's Euphoria (winner of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest). They used the same structure for the live performance onstage (the song has an ecstatic moment, the girl starts a "fight" with the boy at one point... etc). To make a long story short, we looked at Sweden's winning song from 2012 while they keep looking at the future. Another thing that really caught my attention was the big number of duets that we had this year, probably due to the success of last year's Common Linnets (Holland), who ended up 2nd but sold more than Conchita Wurst. 1 Quote Tournée Européenne in Paris (December 1, 2013) Céline Dion Live 2016 in Antwerp (June 20, 2016) Céline Dion Live 2017 in Birmingham (July 27, 2017) Céline Dion à Paris (September 12, 2026)
