I can't handle the new short haired look on Celine. I feel like I'm in mourning right now. I know it sounds silly, but I truly feel like I'm mourning long haired Celine and it doesn't feel good. It's like everything that was formally her is gone. I know it's still her, but so much of her elegance and femininity that was there before seems gone.

 

Even if her hair looked like this I could still handle it.

 

I actually really liked this look on Celine. It was shorter, but still very feminine looking. I am fine with shorter, but when she goes to short it just doesn't flatter her. It takes away all her femininity and glamor.

 

Some people can still look very feminine with short hair and others cannot. I don't know why, but some people just have this certain face where they can pull off short hair and still look very beautiful and feminine. It's a very hard look to pull off for almost anyone.

 

The only time I have ever somewhat liked Celine with short hair was around the Color Of My Love era. It was short, but not to short. Just the way it was styled. She still had a feminine look to her, but it still wasn't my favorite hairstyle. I will always prefer Celine with longer hair over short.

The short hair in the new picture, is too short for her. Celine has quite big ears and a long neck for such short hair. For me also, she looses some of her femininety. The picture you show of her with Rene,she looks so beautiful with that length, no extentions, very pretty. She should go back to that kind of style, she looks so soft and just gorgeous.

Well we might be loons, but Céline was the real loon thinking the blond hair actually looked good, let's break it down:

 

 

Good warm colour, hair looked healthy.

 

 

Funky and sexy, different colours gave it more layers. Still appealing.

 

 

Too bleached, not a flattering colour at all... no styling. Looks like she just came out of the shower (and it was at a press conference )

 

 

I'm sorry but this looks like an actual McDonald's chassiere (no offence it's hard work, but not glamorous)

She looked soooo young when ANDHC came out... and her shorter hair during that shoot with baby RC was awesome too. But the blonde just made her look ancient! I love her short hairdos from 93/95. But the colour was good then! That helps a lot. I am all for a different coupe from the same long hair since 2008... but a good colour is EVERYTHING! To judge if this is a good colour, I need a better pic

 

On that last picture, she looks more like Tineke Schouten (Dutch comedian who also impersonated Celine) than like Celine herself (she is 14 years senior to Celine)

Yeah I like top 2 pics. Short hair can look great on celine. Blonde can look good, just not too blonde and especially with a heavy tan or make up.

But personally I've never been bothered about what she looks like or is wearing. As long as she's happy and her voice is great.

Saying that tho, I can't wait for the first proper pic of her. Forum will be on fire!!!!!

I have had time to adjust to the idea of Celine having short hair again and watching videos from her past with short hair makes me change my mind a little about the whole thing. I never want to judge Celine. That is not my intention. I was just giving my own personal opinion on how I like her hair to look. That's all.

 

When it comes down to it, Celine really looks good know matter what hairstyle she has or outfit she wears. I just have gotten so use to her long hair over the years that I have become attached to that look on her. Now that I have had time to absorb it, I have had a change of heart about the new look. It's growing on me a little.

 

I'm just happy that Celine is happy and that's all that truly matters.

I'm sorry for what I said about her hair being that short, I was not judging her. I was just talking in general, not meaning it in a nasty way. Sorry it came across that way. I love her way to much, to say something that is hurtful. Anyway, I won't talk again about anything that might upset members on the forum, I try not to be a nasty person. I also didn't mean to upset anyone either. I was just voicing my opinion on how I love long hair. It's my favorite style on anyone. Long hair is just my personal preference.

 

It just takes me awhile to adjust to any type of change. I have been looking at past videos from the D'eux era and have had a change of heart about her new hairstyle. The more I look at footage of her hair from around the time when she made the D'eux album, the more I am growing to like it.

 

I agree with the person who posted above me, I also do not want to say anything bad about Celine. I always try to never say anything negative towards Celine because I respect and love her so much for her talent, but also the person that she is.

 

This is one of the only times I have voiced my opinion on something about Celine and it wasn't a dis, it was just an opinion based on personal preference. I have, on occasion said a few negative comments, judgments on family members or career decisions her team or Rene has made I also have a tendency to sound a bit vain and I don't want to be that person. I regret those past words. For the most part, I try to keep my mouth shut.

 

I would like to take this opportunity to take back any negative things I have ever said on this forum over the years. I made a pact to myself a long time ago as a Celine fan that I would never say anything negative about Celine and I have done a pretty good job over the years, but I regret saying little hints of negativity from time to time that were never really directed at Celine, but they were directed at her teams decisions about her career.

 

I would also like to take this opportunity to say sorry to anyone that I have gotten mad at or said any disrespectful things to at any time over the years.

 

When I first joined this forum I was a little to passionate on my thoughts and I would attack anyone who said something that I thought was remotely negative towards Celine. I have grown alot as a person through the years and have learned to keep my mouth shut alot more and to not get so passionate about my feelings.

 

I have been wanting to get that off my chest for awhile now because I am really not that person anymore. I don't enjoy starting fights and I like to keep the piece with everyone. I know I am kind of rambling on now so I will stop because I know this isn't really the place to write this, but I just had to get that off my chest.

 

I will close in saying that, of course I will still have an opinion from time to time, but I want to try to only say positive things from now on because the negative things aren't really worth saying.

Well if she goes with her 'natural hair' she'll be pretty grey. Unlikely I'd say. She will most likely wear a wig. Although it depends when she comes back, if she comes back in 2016 and not this year her hair it will have grown back quite a bit by then.

No apologies here I HATE the Ellen Degeneres look she once had, imo it made her look 60 when she was 35, now that she's 47 I hate to see how old she would look now :/

 

I say bring on the wig, extensions etc. I don't think it has be long but at least shoulder length and feminine looking.
