Alright guys so I did a little investigating...and it seems like a youth hockey tradition for the boys to sometimes to bleach their hair and all match before they go to playoffs as like a superstitious/team bonding activity. RC put the hashtag "#nattys" on the video he just posted and that is a nickname for Nationals so it seems logical to me.

 

I'm thinking maybe his entire team did that whole bleach blonde thing? Someone else commented on the video in french saying the same thing, too.

 

Closer magazine posted this article saying that RC is doing this to go against Celine and "rebel" as a coping mechanism for Rene's death. I really hope this whole hockey thing is true, just so Closer magazine can shut up...I'm sure RC is having a laugh at all of these articles coming out. Pure People also recently posted something and mentioned the rebelling adolescence years as a reason why he dyed his hair. LOL.

This is 100% true. "Hockey Hair" is a thing and it's very common that the teams will sport the same hair dos, especially leading up to a big game. There was a photo posted on the Nevada Storm page of the boys-all with bleached hair. The tabloids just need something to talk about.

There is a video on RC's instagram page with his blonde hair and he is kicking a can off of his friend's head. That's pretty talented!

 

I know he's tall and long legged, but still. That's very impressive. I don't think I could do that. I am pretty flexible, but I don't think I would try it. I would be to afraid of hurting someone. RC's friend is brave. LOL. That could have easily ended with a kick in the teeth.

This is a bunch of crap. RC is being a normal teenager. Teams often do these things when they go to tournaments or finals. When I was in high school ( not that long ago lol) I played hockey as well as football. When I played hockey one year the whole team dyed our hair blonde as well. On the football team the whole team shaved our heads in a Mohawk for playoffs. This is normal teenager behavior, and it's a healthy way to cope with the loss of his father and changes that are going on in his life. Hats off to Celine, I know she's trying everything possible for her whole family to cope to a life without Renè.

RC's feelings, thoughts and choices are very important to Celine. Celine has always wanted RC to express himself in his own individual way.

When she changed from little girl, to young woman, so many people had a problem with it, wanted her to stay a little girl. So I would imagine feeling such oppression in that way, would also urge her to allow her children to have whatever type of look that they want. We want what's best for our children, and we try to give them what we didn't have, be it emotional or materialistic.

 

I don't know, I could be going way too deep with it. I for one, completely applaud her. My mum was always trying to control how I looked when I was a teenager, not because it was outrageous, but just because it wasn't what she liked, and I resented her for it.

I totally agree with every word. I thought of the exact story you mentioned with Michel's hair. Celine has also said many times that she lives through her children, so I totally agree that she wants them to have what she might not have had the chance to experience growing up. Individuality and having your own identity is very important to Celine.

 

Celine wants to make sure her kids grow up knowing that they can express themselves, share there feeling and thoughts and have there own opinions. Growing up the sons of a superstar can be very challenging and send many kids down the wrong path later in life.

 

I really respect how Celine chooses to parent her children. There is no judgment. Celine is such a smart woman with an amazing head on her shoulders and I know her kids are going to grow up to be amazing young men. We can already see it in RC. He seems so together, strong and mature!
