Check out Hotels.com, they have great deals on Vegas rooms. When you are checking room prices for Caesars, make sure you pay attention to the tower you select and only stay in one of the newer towers (Augustus or Octavius). Near Caesars is the Bellagio (just a short walk across a little footbridge). Up the street is the Venetian, and they have great deals on rooms (cheaper than Bellagio or Caesars). Paris hotel will occasionally run specials that have rooms at about half the cost of Caesars, and it's just a short walk from Caesars.

 

Also, a general Vegas tip is to avoid Circus Circus.

 

I agree though with the above comment, that time of year in Vegas can be a bit more expensive. But, hopefully, if you book far enough in advance you can get a better deal.

 

 

As a side note, a lot of people pay for a taxi to get to and from the airport. But, Caesars' can arrange a private car pick up for you that is actually the exact cost a taxi (if not cheaper), but it is much nicer. I mentioned some factors about this in a private message to you previously, but other things include:

 

It isn't clean. Based on reviews, there is everything from unmentionable items being left in hotel rooms to what I will only describe as questionable stains on carpets (and associated smells)--some of those stains/smells were in hallways and elevators, not rooms. So, maybe some rooms are better than others. One person wrote their room was okay, but had cigarette burns on their chair and stains on the walls.

Most everyone agrees the place is outdated.

 

It would be unfortunate if someone visited Vegas and used Circus Circus as their marker for the city (in terms of resorts or attractions and what Vegas has to offer).

 

It does have the circus/carnival arcade area, which kids may enjoy.

 

People differ on if it is a good location or not. It's quite a bit removed from the main part of the strip, but others say how much they like the location. So, that is probably a more subjective standard (as where disgusting smells and stains is arguably objectively questionable). In my opinion, the location isn't great.

 

Rita Rudner is an American comedienne, and she has a show at The Venetian (very funny! If she is playing during your visit, I suggest her show!). She makes a joke in her act about how Vegas has changed, but the joke starts with 30 years ago Circus Circus was the worst hotel in town, then she discusses Vegas changes and growth, and the punchline is something to the effect of even after all of that change Circus Circus is still the worst hotel in town.

 

 

I would just suggest you research it. What works for each person is different, however, coming to Vegas by yourself, I would not recommend it. But, if after doing more research you feel like you want to stay there, then of course you know what works best for you (also, please note not all reviews of Circus Circus are 100% negative). This is just a personal opinion, and my explanation of opinions shared by those who also posted public reviews. As I said, I would just suggest researching it more yourself if you are considering it as a serious option.

My husband and I booked a room there in 03 and took one look at the room and booked another hotel! It has been run down since the 70's/80's.

I know it sounds strange but just in case, is there anyone here wanting to share a room, 2 beds of course ?

i really wanna stay near the Colosseum but its so f expensive this time.. and i think this way it could be cheaper..

im going all by myself, im quite afraid to be honest, i NEVER EVER did a trip like that alone without anyone waiting for me there.. u know,

I just stayed there and was scared to from the online reviews. But I loved it! My room was super clean and the whole floor I was on had been upgraded even the flooring. However, when the elevator stopped on some of the floors I saw that some levels were just as horrific as the online reviews.

 

So, I would recommend the Flamingo so long as you're on the 18th floor lol

 

Iv seen some reviews recently and I'm like 😱 so hopefully we get one of the upgraded rooms.

Iv also read when people complained they moved them straight away so I shall see what happens lol

Yeah I read the reviews and freaked out but I enjoyed my stay there. If you get a nasty room then ask for the 18th floor haha

I wouldn't stay at circus circus.... I did once in 2003 when a new day opened first time to Vegas no clue. I didn't have any issues with my room that I remember but for sure it's way far down at the end of the strip and it's not the best area to walk thru and it's a really long walk to get anywhere. I rent a car now and stay off strip all together (I go 4-5 times a year and go to 3 or 4 shows each time ) I'm not there for anything Vegas been a tourist now it's like a second home.

I'm staying in Flamingo in August , never been before , but we got a good deal & location sold it to me ( right across from Ceasars ) I will leave you know what it's like. And any other tips I get when im over there , il leave you know😊
