This is the most radio friendl song on the album and definitely deservesa chance at becoming a single. I agree it's probably gonna take a lot more names than we can get, but it's worth a shot.

The minute I heard "Somebody Loves Somebody," I instantly felt it was single material! I tried promoting the song on Twitter, and got fairly positive results. However, there needs to be more than just a handful of accounts tweeting about the song on a daily basis. There needs to be hundreds, thousands, millions of accounts talking about the song. Radio stations need to be inundated with requests. Letters and e-mails need to be written to Sony, Feeling, Celine, Rene and Aldo. (Yes, I know Rene is no longer managing, but he still has influence.) Let's do this!

The song screams to be a single, and this choreography shows that even more. It would be a perfect single for this summer.

I can't wait for them to request it like crazy on TRL and other such hip and happpenin' cool cat pop music programs!

lol TRL? That show was axed like 10 years ago. MTV doesn't show music videos anymore.

I would love to have this song as part of the set list in Vegas!!! Put it in the spot where Overjoyed or At Seventeen is, and I would be extremely happy!!!

it totally does deserve to be heard at a broader appeal, but radio won't play her.

 

She needs to do it in front of a massive audience on t.v. which won't happen this summer as she's in Vegas

It's too bad the whole VH1 Divas Live thing isn't happening anymore. I would easily have her perform "Somebody Loves Somebody," "My Heart Will Go On" and the "It's All Coming Back To Me Now"/"The Power Of Love" medley at a new version of that show. It would promote the new album, the Vegas show and her best known classic all in one fell swoop.

Yes, but rael1983 said "in 2003" she wasn't allowed to perform live outside Caesars Palace. Now with this new show she can do it but under permission.

That Vegas contract sucks. Im sorry. Tho if she is promoting something I dont thnk it goes against Vegas contract. If she were on VH1 divas or something like that than she would promoting the album. Edited by Prima_Donna1

I think the stipulation is that she can't tour in North America. She's sung live plenty of times out of Vegas while doing "A New Day..." on The Today Show 2003, The Tonight Show 2003, The Grammys in 2004, The WMAs in 2004, Ellen in 2004, One Night With lite in NYC in 2004, Oprah 2004, Tonight Show 2004, Regis and Kelly 2004, The Heart Gala 2006(although at the Coliseum it wasn't the AND show), Jerry Lewis Telethon 2006, Oscars 2007....she made plenty of appearances in North America during the run of AND where she sang live. They just don't want her to tour because she's with Caesars Entertainment. They want to get all the money and attention for her concerts in the US.

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!
