It was neat to see it, and hear another way, way faster, for someone to do it. PS, didn't like the other version, of course!!!! And some uninformed person said an American poet wrote it. Maybe they did write the English, but I/we know who wrote the original!!!!! 1 Quote L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! L'amour existe encore pour elle!

chocolatechip15 Posted July 18, 2014 at 07:30 AM Posted July 18, 2014 at 07:30 AM Sitting here at 3:30 a.m. drying my hair. . .got a keratin treatment this morning, and something (probably the chemical smell) gave me a migraine so I'm washing it out after 12 hours even though I'm supposed to wait 3 days. But the horrible perm-like smell is still there and is making me feel sick Anyone know how to get this smell out of your hair? Ugh, so gross. And the treatment was super expensive too. Quote

You poor thing. I've had a couple and usually don't notice that kind of smell (perm like) when I get a keratin rinse. I hope it has gotten better??? They are expensive and mine only last for a couple of days. Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

I hope it has gotten better??? They are expensive and mine only last for a couple of days. Thanks, Sherri. Yeah, it's much better today. I think most keratin treatments don't have a perm smell - the problem is that a lot of them have formaldehyde. I was focusing so much on getting one that was truly formaldehyde-free that I didn't seem to realize that they apparently substitute a perm solution instead. But I've washed my hair twice and done a lemon rinse and the smell is a lot less strong now. I'm so sensitive to chemicals and smells that I should have known better than to try one of these things. . .but the July humidity was driving me crazy! I take some comfort in thinking that Celine's natural hair (based on pictures of her when she was very young) is kind of like mine -- brown, somewhere between wavy and curly, and prone to being big/bushy/frizzy if conditions are not ideal. 2 Quote
