Vegas may be slowly going "family friendly" but trust me, it's still not a place for kids, unless you like explaining to your 7 and 9 year olds what a call girl is! (my boys were curious!) There may be attractions off the strip but the majority of tourist go for the strip!

My favorite parts of these interviews: (1) Her referring to the fridge as technology (I guess it is, but it seems hilarious to pair it up with the ipod); and (2) her messing up "Home is where the heart is" (too adorable!). Interesting that she didn't actually answer the question of whether she has a cell phone.

I think that Celine uses latest technique achievements without any problems, and especially when thanks to them can keep in touch with her family. Will be enough to remind a direct satellite link with running through a therapy Rene (during her concerts in late 1990s) or a video monitoring system of her son (RC) in her first house in Las Vegas.

 

And Celine has a cell phone from at least 2007, we can so ascertain having viewed bonus material from "A New Day - Celine Dion Live in Las Vegas" Blu-ray Disc, when she desired a ringtone being a recording as her son (RC) imitated a play on an electric guitar :)

By watching this short interview I see Celine Dion has gained some other life skills besides her singing and parenting. I wish she was not too emotional and using less facial expressions by explaining facts but instead using more rational thinking and official speaking style.

I believe that with right people and training she could be involved into political life in an independent consultancy firm being Human Rights Consultant or something like that.

Feel free guys to express opinion about this nice and refreshing video and little "pretend" who Celine Dion could be by using her status to help society.

Lol!! I love around 1:14ish, she says, "for you, who have twins, my friend" so slyly, like a well greased used car salesman. Like 'Hey buddy, come over here! Have I got a deal for you!' :sofunny:

Politics is a swamp. Regardless of this what a person you are this swamp will draw you in and will change forever, and that will be a bad change.

 

Being an artist of a greatest format and charity work fit in, and this is what Celine does great.

 

Besides, she is the Queen of Vegas already and reached this status avoiding the "political life" :)

What I don't understand is..... This interview is so random... It's like it was done for the sake of it.... Didn't promote the album and didn't speak of Rene...

I remember being a bit shocked (and I'm a New Yorker!) at how you couldn't walk down the strip in Vegas without passing tons of people pushing flyers at you and wearnig big signs saying "Girls in your bed in 20 minutes!" And Caesar's Palace is set up so that you can't get anywhere without walking through a casino, all of which are full of smoke.

 

I'm sure there are family-friendly things to do in Vegas, but it's not exactly Disneyland.

It could be that:

 

1) This is sort of something set up by the new management team, like a test run. No Rene to control the questions or anything. I do not think it is a super high rated show. So, just to see how discussions go generally. A low stakes interview just to keep the ball rolling.

 

2) It could very well be part of her Vegas contract to promote Vegas tourism to some degee, in which case this was right on point. They probably told the interviewer no questions about Rene at this time.

 

3) I have no idea why the interview was like this, and the above two guesses were totally off and not at all accurate.

 

 

Personally, I vote for option 3 :-D

It's just completely effed..I just re watched to see what you meant and I got creeped out a little bit. Eyes creep me out sometimes when I stare at them lol

Wouldn't surprise me if that was only part of the interview. It started abruptly and ended abruptly. So he probably asked her about other things too. Here's hoping.

yea i really hope that its only a small part of the interview cuz she was ONLY ON THERE FOR LIKE WHAT, ONLY A FEW MINUTES????!!!! that was a really lame interview if u ask me lol... i wonder if anyone on here would know where the rest of the interview would be @ by chance????!!!! cuz i have tried searching for it but i cant seem to find any videos of the interview so far... if u do, please let me know soon... thank u so much i really appreciate it...

Hope this doesn't make me sound too stalkerish (there's never a limit haha!) but it was Rene's phone because Rene was holding the same exact phone in his hand in the car on the way over to Caesars Palace in the same video. And in the Sur les plaines video from last summer Rene handed her his phone and she was talking to RC on it so pretty sure she doesn't have one (Sadly lol)

Et je t'aime encore, comme dans les chansons banales...
