I always wish I could share some of my hair with people who say that. My hair is super-thick, curly/wavy, coarse and prone to poof and frizz at any moment. It's a daily battle to get it looking anywhere close to decent. My hairdresser recently told me, "Your hair grows out, rather than down." The only thing that really works to make it shiny and straight is flatironing, but that's terrible for the hair, and mine is so thick that I can't do it myself, and it literally takes an hour for a professional hairdresser to blow it out straight.

 

On topic (sort-of): I have been somewhat comforted by the fact that I think Celine's natural hair (based on the pictures of her as an early teen) is kind of like mine :) Would that my hair would look like hers now!

We must be twins! Have you tried Keratin rinses, they are a little expensive but they straighten out my hair for 3 or 4 days! However when you add our humidity down here....forget it! I usually have to wear mine back! Edited by DionFanAlways

We are the same.

I used to straighten my hair every day in middle school because all of my friends and other girls had straight hair. It took me an hour by myself. I even had it chemically straightened :doh: Then one day, I played around and put mouse in my hair..I thought "Dang, it looks good!" And I've never looked back. I have not straightened my hair in YEARS! I occasionally flat iron my bangs, but that is it lol! One hair dresser kept complaining about how thick my hair was so I never went back to her lol! Now, while all of my friends are straightening their hair.. I just towel dry, comb out tangles, put in some mouse and scrunch :) The only thing that sucks is when it's really humid, but that goes for straight hair too!

I would die too! I get wanting to be comfortable because your cooking & on your feet running around but slippers? C'mon now! LOL Even with that, if that's your thing on the show or whatever, at least fix your hair, etc. You're on national television. :giggle:

 

That's how I felt when I did meet her. I was in decent clothes, but I had been awake for over 24 hours because I was so excited about seeing her on THE TODAY SHOW that I couldn't sleep the night before. I looked like a zombie.

That's how I felt when I did meet her. I was in decent clothes, but I had been awake for over 24 hours because I was so excited about seeing her on THE TODAY SHOW that I couldn't sleep the night before. I looked like a zombie.

Luckily you weren't on national television! B) That would be my luck, too. I would just randomly see her out somewhere, completely un-prepared and looking like a hot mess. Of course, I should be so lucky to just randomly run into her somewhere.... :innocent:

Lol - me too!! When people saw my pic they said i looked knackered! Bet Celine thought so too!!lol
