No plans for a concert video release, to be announced later

In a way, I agree with you. I'm still hoping for the "Blonde Edition" of "A New Day..." to be released someday. It would be so nice to have "Nature Boy," "Et je t'aime encore," "Have You Ever Been In Love," "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," "Fever," "At Last" and "What A Wonderful World" on DVD!

 

I agree I know she didn't like it but I would have loved to have had the original AND on dvd as well.

 

Also for anyone wondering I checked back with Martin and still no word from Celine's team so if the revamp does happen I'm inclined to believe for now they have no plans to give us a dvd of the original "Celine" show. He also has no clue if she is revamping the show so I guess we'll know come June 10th

The unfortunate thing about the "Blonde Edition" is that it truly wasn't as bad as Celine made it out to be. I was fortunate enough to see it one night when she cancelled due to falling ill the night of one of the concerts I was to attend. So, to try and somewhat make it up to people, they invited us to move down to the front orchestra and watch the DVD on the giant LED screen. I feel eternally grateful for having been one of the few out there who got to see something which may never see the light of day again. Hopefully, someday, a mega collector's edition of "A New Day..." will be released, complete with BOTH versions of the show.

It would be incredible to have both versions. I'm grateful for YouTube -- because we can see a glimpse of what the show was like initially. Having the original A NEW DAY concert on DVD is up there with the Phil Spector sessions for me. Hopefully all of this unreleased material will someday be released.
