This is getting funnier all the time. Yes, Rene is much hotter than this guy. I've seen him in person in Vegas and I must say he looks good in person! You all are so funny, been laughing so hard at some of your comments. Thanks for making up my day!

Totally agree with you. He is not really nice looking is he? Not even average. Maybe I am being a little not so nice now. I'm sorry. Like you say, she has better taste than that.

i just want to say this about muh celine...........she has always told us fans that she is an open book and reveals all to us whether it's about IVF or golf or she's having a bad hair day or a bad menstrual cycle, hahahahaha just had to say that, she would tell us if there was something not quite right between her and rene.

:giggle: I do think she would share it with us......eventually. I think they would keep a lot private for a while until a lot of stuff was worked out (we didn't hear about their troubles a few years ago until this year). Then, once they knew what was up and what they were doing, I think she'd share it.

Celine minus the ring, nothing to worry about. If she starts going commando Rene better step up.

Dear lord! She definitely has better taste than this!! And I guess they figure if she's going to do this she's going to go all out with 2 rather than 1. At least Ferland is somewhat believable if they had to pick someone. (Since she does idolize him, etc.)

I know she likes elderly, but Ferland? Better to change profession to geriatrics :giggle:

The guy in the pix is Prince Al-Walid Bin Talal who is a multi-zillionaire and Rene's fortune is equicalent to 10% of this man's.

He owns a record company called Rotana which is equivalent to Sony Music in the Arab world.

This guy is so famous for his adventures with any female celebrity he would pick.

 

Anyway we all know by now that it's a fake news.

I think that's the same news I saw on tv only now he's a rich prince instead of rich businessman, still Middle Eastern tho, I guess Celie has a type since Rene is Lebanese as well. STUPID TABLOIDS!

Well, we do know that she has a thing for Arab men, so I wouldn't be particularly surprised. Remember, her children are part Syrian. At the end of the day, though, this is a really complicated question, since it is entirely possible that Celine and Rene are not as serious about their marriage, or at least the monogamous dimension of it, as they would like us to think. Sometimes, "hard times" means "one partner cheated on the other and now I want to cheat as well" ... and that can often be resolved by, "Well I guess it's OK if we establish rules and talk about it openly." I only mention this because it does seem likely, but perhaps not proven decisively, that Rene has been unfaithful in the past. In any case, the idea of an open or flexible marriage might seem for Celine to be an issue that would be quite serious due to the age difference; I would empathise with her if she had at some point feared becoming trapped and decided to start talking openly about how her needs weren't being met, or even about what would happen after Rene dies ... these are conversations that inevitably happen at some point in this type of relationship, this type of marriage, and I personally would respect Rene and Celine even more if this was this case for them. I too have this romantic image in my mind of Rene dying and Celine becoming a reclusive widow who only wears black and never leaves the house, but it's time to let it go.
