Btw you guys the "Soft Kitty" reference is from The Big Bang Theory( sit com from the U.S.) it's a song that one of the characters in the show demands sometimes to annoy another character. Edited by Prima_Donna1

This week on the news we will learn that Rene sleeps with a Maine Coon instead of Celine. He loves to sing Soft Kitty to her and pet her gently to sleep. Oh yea that Maine Coon makes for one strange bed fellow.

 

 

Yea Celine is jealous :( - she can't be the one singing Soft Kitty to the Maine Coon.

Rene was at the show tonight , past us in the crowd! I think he seemed uncomfortable with the attention he was getting. Celine is the star and that's how he sees it!

Celine was a little teary during some songs tonight! But I guess that was her dads anniversary! It's upsetting to see her upset! And then the MHWGO thing happened!

Yesterday I bought our People magazine.on the cover is a picture of Kloe Kardashian ans Scott. Anyway on page 31, there is an article about Celine saying, "Celine's Surprise Divorce". No divorce for sure but. Sorry, I don't know how to do the scans stuff etc. but I see the link is: www.peoplemagazine.co.za . I hope you can find it on this link, if you are interested. Also in the middle of this book, is a little booklet, advertising entertainment things, on page 6 and 7, there is a very nice interview with Celine, asking nice questions. It says "Exclusive! Celine Dion's Comeback". Hope you can find it.

Here is my take. Celine has taken off her ring as a security measure given all the engagement with fans and crowds around her. If I were her I would do to. Rene is keeping his distance publicly so he doesnt detract attention from Celine who is trying to capture a new younger fan base across the globe...having an old man next to her aint good for her image.....savvy marketing in my opinion...

Well, we all just spent 12 pages on absolutely nothing. It seems like a choice way to spend our time, haha.

 

What's funny to me is if she doesn't say anything then people say "this is odd, she is being too quiet. The rumors must be true." But, then when something is released that things are okay and nothing is wrong, etc., then people say "well, of course, she is just going to deny all of the rumors. The rumors are probably true. Or at least, there is some truth in the rumors."

 

I am not really sure how she could satisfy anyone, except herself and the people who actually know her. No one wants the rumors to be true, but no one will fully accept the rumors are entirely false. Makes her life a bit of a spectacle for the entertainment of others or maybe more accurately like her life is a hobby people can just pick up and put away and take back out when they have extra time. I think I would find fame oppressive. No one is going to cue the sad violin music, because celebrities make too much money, but, I still think fame would be hard to handle. Have you ever sent a text message to the wrong person or accidently shared something on social media you intended as a private message? Now magnify that by a billion, and we might be close to the feeling celebrities get just when they walk outside the door. They walk out of the house, try to control something that is judged right away, and clean up can be accomplished awkwardly at best. I am not sure all the money would be worth it (well, it might be worth it for a little bit, but then immediate retirement :-D )

 

Do I have an opinion about the rumors? Of course. Frankly, I was going to share it, but then I realized it would kind of (read: totally) undercut my point about how wrong celebrity gossip is, haha.

 

 

I think Celine said it best in her autobiography: people should watch how much they learn about people they admire, no one really knows the celebrity the look up to, so it doesn't take much to cause a disillusionment. So, any thing, just a little bit, just a hint of something wrong, can be crushing to a fan. But, it isn't like we know the whole person. She discussed it a little bit in her book My Dreams, My Story (so, my representation here is just a paraphrase really).

 

There are honestly times I wish I did not even know she was married or know anything about her personal life (says the person on a forum about her life and career). But, it's true. I wish I would have just listened to her music and that's all. Too late now, of course, so I might as well stick around the fourm :)

 

If anything though, this has all made me avoid celebrity gossip more often than not lately. What's the point? It's just rumors about people I do not even know. So, why waste my time? It's all such a distraction from their work anyway.
