Your_Su_Phu Posted November 26, 2013 at 06:43 AM Posted November 26, 2013 at 06:43 AM (edited) Yes, I saw that exact thing. I am fed up with Celine doing this. I have NO idea why she went to Europe and performed among her repertoire a B-class title track off of her debut English album. It makes zero sense...and then she goes on to LIP it. Perform a (perhaps equally obscure) French song instead Celine, what the hell.....! WDMHBN is not the title track to her debut, nor is it B-class. It was a top 5 hit in the US - in fact her first US hit. Edited November 26, 2013 at 06:45 AM by Your_Su_Phu 5 Quote

Popular Post LuisMa Posted November 26, 2013 at 07:02 AM Popular Post Posted November 26, 2013 at 07:02 AM For me WDMHBN was an amazing moment. I can't care less whether it was lipped or whatever. The visuals were great as well. I can't even imagine myself going to a concert and trying to find a fault in a performance. I just sit there, let loose, relax, enjoy the moment, being with my hubby, and listen to the songs we both love. 9 Quote
Celine Fan 77 Posted November 26, 2013 at 09:42 AM Posted November 26, 2013 at 09:42 AM So... According to a recent video, she is staying at the 'Le Royal Eclaireur' hotel in Paris, can anybody confirm this? I'm planning to wait for her at the door so she can sign me something Quote Tournée Européenne in Paris (December 1, 2013)Céline Dion Live 2016 in Antwerp (June 20, 2016)Céline Dion Live 2017 in Birmingham (July 27, 2017)

And the general public doesn't know she's lipping a song, they're just happy to see her. We are the ones who will always give her a hard time about that, and it seems we can't see anything else when we realize she's lipping a song. Sometimes I think we want perfect live performances all the time, and that's impossible for any human being. 5 Quote http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/backup674/Banners/Image1.jpg
PuraVida Posted November 26, 2013 at 10:47 AM Posted November 26, 2013 at 10:47 AM (edited) WDMHBN is not the title track to her debut, nor is it B-class. It was a top 5 hit in the US - in fact her first US hit. Sorry, by "title track" I meant lead single. I like the song, but it ranks nowhere near the caliber of her A-class material such as career-defining tracks or beautifully written songs ("Call the Man" "The Prayer" "Immortality"). She went to France to perform (and lip) her first US hit that was totally forgotten until her newest Vegas show. I just think it made little sense and could have been replaced by a French song. The year after she won Eurovision (in 1988), she went back in 1989 to introduce WDMHBT and it was the beginning of a veryyyyy long (English) career... And I still love that song as on Day 1. Not for her, she once did that Between 1993 and 1996 she used to doing even better performances of her songs when she sang them live than in the studio version And in all honesty, I still believe she CAN do better live performances today than in the studio. The only problem is that today she is so tired and bored of singing many songs. I'm still shocked to what french fans have commented in the red heads facebook about yesterday's concert 1 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

I'm still shocked to what french fans have commented in the red heads facebook about yesterday's concert I agree that she was flawless around that time, but she often said in interviews that she didn't have a life back then. Her voice ruled her life. Now she's a different person, and it shows on her voice. I bet she's a lot happier now than she was then. What did they say about the concert? 1 Quote http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/backup674/Banners/Image1.jpg

Don't know if you've been following the Survivor thread, but WDMHBN was voted one of the top 4 fan favorite English songs. It was also her breakthrough English song & a milestone in her career. I adored seeing it in Vegas with the montage of clips from her career - i'm assuming that's what she used for this concert. I think this whole show sounds amazing and I am SO jealous of all of you who got to see it! 2 Quote
