I have an average of 120 plays for each songs on my iTunes, WAAF has 214 plays.This was going to be the album title and the first single. They were going to bet eveything on this song. For an album title "Water and a flame" SUCKS, but the song is so good, they were sill ready to use it. It could have been an epic radio single as its sooo different than what Celine's usually sings. Cher's "I hope you find it" is still TOP 20 on AC Radio and the lyric video has almost 1.5 million views plus many videos from live performances with +200k views. Plus it was a TOP 40 hit in many european countries. I wonder why Céline couldn't achieve that with a ballad and a successful album! 1 Quote

And I don't care about Adèle and while I knew it was a cover of hers I had never listened to her (their) version. Done it this morning and ....WT* ! Was Adèle actually sleeping when she recorded it? I thought it was just a copy / paste(as usual) but it's not. Sorry but Céline put it to another level and really brought her own thing. .. just like the best covers she had done before. The bridge is everything. .. the live version was even better... Was so in love with this song but now even more. And I don't understand even more now how can we doubt about who's better than who. And still don't know why it wasn't used as a proper single everywhere.... Quote

Hadn't been because the big name of Adele behind it, it would be just another ordinary song The music is sooo.... boring. It hasn't any climax. A flat melody from start to end. Not the song you will see anyone singing along in concerts or in karaokes certainly. Céline gave it a lot of free publicity -without deserving it- and since that fuss with that spoiled brat author, I liked it even less. There I said it. Kinda remind me of Joss Stone. And lyrically, I'm glad she sang those words. A break-up song was needed after so many cheesy love songs. I'm pretty sure she will sing it during her next tour. Quote
