I queued in the rain & cold for 4 hours... with 3 of my friends who arent celine fans but agreed to come with me as they know how much I love celine! We were seated 3 rows from the front!!! At this point I was more then excited ive previously seen celine in concert twice but never had the opportunity to be this close to my idol! When she came on stage everyone was on their feet cheering! (I was crying! It was an emotional moment) she got an amazing welcome!Her performance was just WOW pitch perfect note perfect... the bass in the studio sounded great! I really hope it sounds as good on TV! She was that good that even my "non celine fan" friends left saying how amazing she was! Last night is definitely up there with one of the best nights of my life! Queuing for 4 hours in non stop rain to see celine for all of 10 minutes was sooo worth it! I was at the hotel earlier in the day and got my iphone signed... well it didnt exactly work lol Ive met her n seen her upclose before but yestetday she was glowing and was so nice... She never ages.She apologised as the silver sharpie didnt sign the back of my iphone and i felt bad for her apologising as its just one of those things that can happen... She said "Its not working my love, i tried, im sorry" bless her! After queuing up for 3 hrs i was in and got third row isle seat behind louis.The crowd was amazing... The set was wicked, and the guy who warms the audience up was funny we sabg along and danced to a few of celines songs then dermot n the judges came out. And as others said when celine walked onstage everyone stood up and went crazy and she took a step back and were clearly touched and was like wow as the cheers went on for ages and into and over the intro video which i dont think anyone watched as celine was there and looking sooooo hot. The amount of ppl singing and dancing during the song was incredible and she sound frickin good!!! Afterwards as dermot walked towards her and just began talking i shouted "i love you celine" at the top of lungs and others followed lol. I never intended to and afterwards i was like did i just do that?!?The interview i couldnt hear because of the cheers and she looked soooo happy when she walked off stage smiling from ear to ear So honoured to have been there and the perf cud be used as the music video because everything was just spot on. When he was announcing Celine for tomorrow he said something along the lines of "a brilliant singer and all round Sam Bailey impersonator Celine Dion will be here tomorrow." Um no Dermot, Celine's been around for 30 years. If anyone is impersonating anyone Sam is impersonating Celine! I realise in the context of the X Factor show that comment makes sense but it's those snippy little comments that annoy me! Rant over lol.
