Cher just performed there yesterday. Hope Céline gets the same treatment. BIG Logo, band, lights! and LIVE please!

yeah that was nice, but I'd rather have the big band with the strings and the big drums part! and the OLD Céline Logo in huge lights! ;)

 

Plus, ANDHC was PLAYBACK :( If Cher sang live, Céline can do it too!

it is pretty obvious ANDHC was playback. But since Cher can sing live, why not Celine? I did not get it. And she did the same that year in Holland, where she did not perform the song live as well. You might as well turn on the cd ,because it is the same audio. But I have to say, this setpiece, this lightning house, gorgeous! it really gave the perfect atmosphere to this song. I hope she will sing live this time, then the setpiece is just a present when it is there, if not, no problem as long as she blows everyone away with amazing vocals:-)

I guess its because Cher's performances have been popular mostly because of the use (and abuse) of the autotune effect since the Believe era, and she's been so critizised for that. That's why I think that now that she has a ballad to promote, she's singing it live with no more effect than her real voice :P In a way its like saying "hey I know I've been the queen of autotune all these years, but here I am again, I can sing with my bare voice too, and live". And what a voice she's showing at 67! ^_^

Wow! I can't wait to see this show in it's entirety. Someone really knew what they were doing when they booked these two together! Ratings should be amazing, especially between the Celine & Miley fans. The stage looks amazing. Can't wait to see her sing!!
