Here in the USA. Nothing yet on the charts, its not high enough!! I'm getting on twitter, facebook, facebooked local radio stations asking about airplay. I was watching QVC when they were selling it on air, it looks like its sold a good 10k during the entire time the they were talking abou Celine. ANDHC i think sold like 500k in the first week? or something like that? Idk if we can do that here in the USA, but i'm personally going to devote some time promoting the album.

they were talking about 200 millions in 2007 and now they say 220 millions. So, maybe she has sold 20 millions cd in those 6 years, i think they can invest a little still.

Sony says they have an extensive promo campaign for her lasting past December.

 

It's likely they're going to put up an itunes banner for the US later, maybe even tomorrow when the album is released here.

 

And the people whining about not having a CBS special - TC's special didn't even happen until months after the album was released.

I don't think that it's going to be bad. Remember, her vegas contract alone is more lucrative than what most artists have. Loved Me Back To Life will be a hit. For sure It will hit 1 million at the least! I think It will pick up some steam as well. I hope she does award show performances, more tv shows etc. Get on board and help promote. it's what other fans do for their artist, But she is strongest in physical sales. Most artists these days are number 1 because of digital sales, downloads etc. thats it! But celine can outshine them in physical sales

Sans Attendre.. your probably looking at a figure close to 230-235? With Loved Me Back To Life? Maybe up to 240?-250? IF ITS A BIG HIT? Maybe push her closer to that 300 mill mark?

I have this feeling they are holding out for the Olympics. Incredible won't go live in its ultimate form until January. They could possibly already know about the gig, and have prepared a long term sales strategy to support it. The CD will be pushed hard on the tourists visiting Sochi. I can already see it - that album cover looks great against the slopes. That opening arpeggio on the synth piano will be what NBC uses as the intro / outro instead of the trumpet fanfare. There will be fireworks and suddenly everyone will be downloading the single all at once in a billion living rooms all over the planet! The album will be bigger than Thriller!
