No airplay on The Blend yet, no. The only other satellite/syndicated kind of program on Mediabase's AC panel is Dial Global/Westwood One, so I couldn't tell you about DirectTV, Music Choice, or anything like that.

DirectTV is a satellite provider that carries The Blend. Was just asking her if she had it.

Loved Me Back to Life, the song, is the best leading single Céline has released since I Drove All Night back in 2003. It's a much better song than Taking Chances (2007) -- which was still great, but unlike that song, this is a total original, not a cover. The song feels very current. There are hints of Rihanna's style in it, and Sia has done an amazing job writing it. Finally, a Celine song that is current, hip, and doesn't come across as Celine trying to be current and hip. It fits right into mainstream American radio, but it's still a Celine Dion song. No one else on the radio today has a voice like the one she puts on display and reminds us of her. If there is any justice in the world, this single will obliterate Katy Perry's Roar, Lady Gaga's Applause, and Miley Cyrus' entire Bangerz on the charts. Even if it doesn't, this is still one of the best songs of the past year.

 

I've started to see her & this song show up in my newsfeed from a few friends' pages who I was surprised to see post something about it. Hopefully the buzz will keep going. We all knew, in general, we wouldn't hear her on the radio like we did in 90's. Once artists get to a certain age & point in their career, the radio air-time just kinda drops off compared to newer artists. I hate that but it is what is is.
