I doubt its actually her for many reasons, but I'm excited regarding the global excitement already and think it will now be the best way to get updates, pics and vids because of the hype and what twitter is used for.

Im hoping that if its not C then its atleast Rolande/Rene or RC as if its sony or feeling prod we may get the same boring updates from the fb and official page... But I have a good feeling about this although I dont expect to see to many tweets a week unless its for promo.

I swear her team has been reading this forum lately! Changing the album title and first single, moving the date of the album, even changing the whole concept of the album, getting involved in social media?! Awesome! They are definitely trying to reach out to her fans more

It would seem Cher unfollowed Celine!... as I was still able to see her verified account as among the followers just a while back.

While I personally like Celine being old-fashioned in some way (being a family person, not knowing a lot about technology, etc.) -- I think it's smart for her team to choose a few modern ways of promotion. Times have changed so much. I hope Celine does actually tweet herself, but even if it's run by her team and we just get periodical updates, that will still be good for promotion.

 

It really worried me that this will be the first English album in a long time that won't have the Oprah Winfrey Show platform for promotion -- but it will be fun to see Celine stretch her promotional wings. And Oprah's network has been steadily climbing with big name interviews lately -- so I'm sure Celine will be on OPRAH'S NEXT CHAPTER.

 

They would be VERY WISE to release more information about the album NOW. Another video clip. A teaser of the song. SOMETHING to capitalize on all this buzz!

yes! my thought too! Maybe RC did some research here;-) Well, whoever it was - this is a step in the right direction! Get to know your fans, inform us , give us insight news, make new people excited. It is awsome Celine ( or whoever writes the tweets) finally uses Twitter!

Honestly I think RC had and has nothing to do with this. He's is what 12 almost 13 years old? He has no part in managing Celine's career. Not quite sure why so many of you think he does...? Julie Snyder just confirmed to The Red Heads that Celine's twitter account is managed by Sony Music. She also said that the account was of course created with Celine's permission and that she will comunicate directly with her fans via short video messages that will be uploaded by Sony.
