All good songs in general that I do like (it's tough to choose on these rounds!) but all the christmas songs and English versions of the French songs shouldn't stay for the purpose of this game. I was trying to keep in mind what's she most known for and the songs she will most be remembered by in addition to my faves to help me choose.

I'm a big fan of "Where Does My Heart Beat Now"... My Top 5 definitely. But I'm going to be polite and pretend I didn't read this :) :flowers: :censored: . Also I think I will continue to participate without reading other member's selections. Especially as the rounds go by and the list is reducing. I understand it's a matter of taste, but still...

I'm sure this is an unpopular opinion, but Taking Chances is *by far* my least favorite Celine album. I just don't care for the more "rock" sound, and there's not a single song on that album that I really love. (only Celine album I can say that about). And know "Eyes on Me" isn't rock, but I just find that song kind of "meh" and not really Celine.

 

But Sherrie, I'm still in shock that you and so many listed "Voices that Care" -- I have loved that song since it first came out when I was 10 years old (before I even knew who Celine was), and I think her part in it is amazing. I guess that's why Celine sings so many different styles of music, and appeals to so many people - we all have different tastes!

For me Taking Chances is my favorite. Don't get me wrong I love all of her albums but that one had more songs on it that I could relate to because of where my life was at that point. As a kid I loved WDMHBN, TLYM, etc but I didn't really get the meaning. That album was probably the first Celine album that almost every song meant something and inspired me to make some changes. Plus she hadn't recorded songs like that and I love that she's doing diff things as an artist.

Exactly. I like WDMHBN but, honestly, can go without it in favour of many other songs.
