I don't think you understand what I was saying. You said that it "literally means f**k" I said that it actually doesn't literally mean that but that is the implication of the word in that particular context. Prendre is used a few times in the song and it is not always being used in the connotation of implying "f**king"

 

If you look at this part of the song:

Si tu ne veux pas prendre

L'amour que je te donne

Je pourrais te rendre fou, rendre fou

Jusqu'au bout

 

Its means:

 

If you will not take

The love that I give you

I could make you crazy, make you crazy

through

 

It doesn't have the implication you are suggesting the word has in this context, BUT... If you look at this part of the song where it uses prendre again:

Toutes ces nuits toute seule dans le noir

 

De ma chambre

À rêver que tu viens me prendre

Me feras-tu encore attendre des jours, des mois

 

Which is essentially saying:

 

All those nights all alone in the dark

My room

To dream that you come take me

Wilt thou have me wait days, months

 

Here it does imply sex based on the connotation of the word and the way its being used.

 

And yes "prends moi" does mean "take me" and is used in a sexual way. "Prends moi" is also a weight loss fragrance, so....

I just watched the documentary. I liked it. It was nice to see Jean-Jacques Goldman again talking about Céline. Again we heard many things we already know, especially the story behind "My Heart Will Go On". I liked the part where they were talking about Céline's early days. I always find it interesting. I regret we didn't see some rare footage of recording of "D'eux" as they announced. Only some sessions from "S'il suffisait d'aimer" that we already saw.
