Her legacy is Las Vegas. She single handedly recovered the Las Vegas economy and brought the city out of its lowest all-time economic recession, by pumping a Billion US Dollars into the Las Vegas economy from 2003-2007.

 

She also laid out the blue print for Las Vegas residency shows for all other artists to follow and subsequently generate hundreds of millions of dollars.

 

She is the highest grossing artist of all time for venue-based concerts.

I think her only real legacy are "My heart will go on" and her French career. D'eux will probably always be the best selling French album.

However, she has not created a new style or marked a certain period of time like Michael Jackson, Prince etc. have done.

She is one of a kind.

2. Passing Francophone music/culture into a wider audience.

 

3. Making Las-Vegas a music destination by paving the way to new singers to perform.
