duri Posted April 9, 2013 at 06:51 PM Posted April 9, 2013 at 06:51 PM (edited) An international career is not just about concerts it's above all about the albums and her highly sucessful album Sans Attendre is the perfect example. We will see with new english album how is Céline´s international career, SA is the perfect example that her francophone career is still on the top. Can you show me the numbers of success from Australia, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States along with other European and South American countries in the world? I believe it will be great numbers of "highly successful album"... So all I want to say is that her local francophone leg is not an international career. Quote

A French album won't be as successfull in non-native French speaking countries compared to native French speaking countries. The album had quite a success in Canada, Belgium, France, Switserland and even Poland. The album sold over 1,2 million copies whereof 750.000 were sold in Europe. 1 Quote ...
Matej Posted April 21, 2013 at 01:12 PM Posted April 21, 2013 at 01:12 PM I have no doubt about the success of Sans attendre... Quote
cobra74 Posted April 24, 2013 at 07:35 AM Posted April 24, 2013 at 07:35 AM Truth be known, I love Céline and I love Vegas. I'm glad she's staying for awhile. She is also doing performances during her extended 'off' time from Sin City. Plus 2 New albums. And, to be completely honest, I'd rather hear Céline sing the 'same old songs' than listen to 99% of the new stuff being regurgitated right now. 1 Quote "Better to die on one's feet than to live on one's knees."
