Oh I see. They got the coppermine gallery to work with 3.3. Could you ask them how to add it to the sidebar? I don't have time to research it at the moment. :)

I'd like a "Read It Later" option. For now I've been using Like It cause I can go into My Content and get those right away. I'm not sure if there is a module for that, but it would be nice to have if there is a really long post that you want to remember to read later.

Can you make the "edit" banner a little bit more subtle? ^_^

Is anyone confused with the new "design" of the forum? The colors are harsh for my eyes and it makes it hard to differentiate things and see what is what. I waited for a few days to see if I'd get used to it, but it gets worse and worse, even more so from an iPhone. Is this suppose to be an upgraded version, because it just doesn't seem to be ...for me anyway. I don't post much, but I felt compelled to put this out to see if anyone felt this way.

I already made it less noticeable. What do you suggest?

You should be seeing the Mobile skin on your iPhone and other mobile phones. If not, scroll to the bottom and click on "Change theme" and choose "Mobile". You can also download tapatalk app. There will be at least 2 additional skins with one that has a color picker so you could change the theme to any color you want. :)

Added a new skin called "Parler à mon père" with a COLOR-PICKER on the top right. To change, click on "Change Theme" on the bottom left of the forum then Parler à mon père.

Looks like this: color_picker.png

Click on it then a popup will come up, choose the color you want from the slider by dragging it up/down on the right then you can choose the pattern by dragging the little circle around on the left. :thumbsup2:

Looks like there was a bug with big topics causing the forum to use a lot of resources. I just applied the fix and it seems to have made the forum a lot smoother. :whee:

Topic view would be best, most of us would want to go to ones profile just to view their local time.

I was wondering, could we get a notification when we have been quoted? just like we are notified that someone "liked" our post?

thats just a suggestion...

I think you can receive an email notification when you are quoted, but thats too much....

thanks again for the upgrade, i like it a lot

It's already there but not visible until it's clicked on. I made it visible all the time now plus forums and topics have pagination now.

I've just read in another old post that there are time limits on when you can edit a post.

Is this true? I've been wondering now for ages why I've not been able to edit my posts - it is THE most frustrating thing on any forum that I've ever come across if true.

EDIT: and so its true, as the "edit" button has just appeared.

MY posts are MY words; not being allowed to edit them whenever I want is utterly ridiculous. Having operated my own forum before, I am at a complete loss at this :giggle:

Yes. There is no way for others to know if/when a post is edited after they are read. For certain boards, it's fine but not a good idea for a large forum to allow them to be edited whenever.

If you want to make an edit, you should quote the post and state it. People read pages forward, not backwards. :P

I understand your views on this Koolan, but I respectfully disagree.

The one big flaw in this is that we cannot edit our own topic titles/opening posts, and in threads like "Guess The Opening Week Sales Of...", I cannot edit details or updates into said opening posts.

But it is what it is I suppose.
