This thread is for general feedback on the board. What do you like? What can we improve on? Do you have a suggestion for a specific forum (English, Spanish, Italian, etc). Is there an active member that would be a good moderator for one of the inactive forums? Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

I was just visiting the forum upgrates page and wrote my comments in there, Then i noticed there was a section for fan feedback. I already mentioned this in the previous topic, but is the photo gallery gone?

 

All i notice at the top of the page, where the photo gallery used to be are, Forums, Members and Calendar. It would be really nice to have a new up to date photo gallery again.

 

I remember when i first joined this forum, there were always new pics being added to the photo gallery. Around 2006 or 2007 that stopped and now all that gets updated in the gallery are the fashion pics.

 

That is my only suggestion for the new forum. I really miss having an up to date photo gallery.

Looks great! Whenever I can help I would love to make a banner for the forum as well? Maybe a nice winter one? using my earlier winter theme ( wallpaper)

All that is needed is give me a size that I can work with. I can't program but a banner is not that difficult if I have one size to work with.

Good upgrade though!

upgrade looks great, but it will take me some times to get use to it.

 

One thing, we used to see if we had replied to a certain thread, now it seems like this feature is gone. Is it gone or i just don't no where to look at? : P

EDIT: oh i saw it, it creates 2 little bubbles instead of a dot....i should have waited a day or 2 before commenting loll sorry

Angel2006: The app that we used for the gallery does not work in this version of the board. We are looking into alternate solutions so we can bring the gallery back.

At first glance the board looks really cool and slick! AND THANK GOD finally a new banner in 5 years! Seems like CDF took the same pace as Céline's team did! :giggle:

 

I haven't fully explored yet, but it looks promising! Good job you guys! :thumbsup:

 

The way quotes are displayed, should be done better. Now it is not clear when a quote ends.

I agree with Davey. The Quote display looks kinda weird, but apart from that, everything looks great. I know you guys are working hard on making this a better place, so kudos to you. :)

First glance is whoa. A bit much to take in at first, but I also love the "like feature" ...i'm sure i'll love it once I get used to it in a couple days!

I agree with Davey. The Quote display looks kinda weird, but apart from that, everything looks great. I know you guys are working hard on making this a better place, so kudos to you. :)

Once the posts are done rebuilding to the new format, it'll look better than ever. :D

I'm usually against all changes, so I have to say that visually I preferred the old forum. I liked that we could change the "skin" for example, and because of that, CDF was visually much more interesting than other forums in general are, and more unique. Now it looks more like "the rest of them". It's maybe a bit too "grey" in my opinion. And one thing I don't like is that the avatar photo seems to have changed on its own.. :D I don't like watching my face next to the comments I leave. :D But I guess I can go and change that myself.

But yeah, the "like" option seems great though!! :)

In the end, I haven't yet had time to explore the new upgraded forum better, to be able to say anything more. Oh, the banner looks great too! :)

 

In general it looks ok, so, "it's not you, it's me", it just always takes me time to accept changes.... ;)

We had another skin but it hid buttons and displayed incorrectly so we didn't go live with it. We'll be adding more skins in the future. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to just convert the existing skins into this new format like we could with the forums, posts or PMs.

 

I agree that it's a little plain looking right now. There's a feature that will allow you to customize the color of the skin even more that I think you will like once it's available.

Just installed the Tapatalk app for mobile phones. Push notifications are supported. :w00t: Activate the forum notifications settings @ http://www.celinedio...a=notifications

 

The Chrome plugin seems cool.
