Why is everybody always screaming Photoshop? When In all actuality it could just be simple filtering and brushing, lighting perhaps.

 

Even so, her past photoshoot was photoshopped as well, as most of her photoshoots are.

 

I don't get the hate, I love the pictures, everyone is always so quick to judge the pics but never mention the fact that they exist into the first place. Had they not photoshopped, everyone would be crying for it.

 

I love the pics, she looks amazing know my honest opinion.

I too thought the hairline on that picture looked strange... I think whoever made the Promo for that concert altered the pictures a little...

I would be happy if they had just reused pictures from 1st photshoot. She was more natural. For example my profile pic would fit more because it's edgy

From this one i understand that. The face is like a clown, sooo white. Like botoxed. Gone any natural skin. But i wonder if the original version of this picture has this much photoshop as well..

It's just how it's done. Like you said every shoot and picture gets airbrushed and photoshopped but it needs to be done with refinement and with taste. They made her look like an alien drag queen trying to resemble Céline. It's just bad photoshop, point blank period.

 

And my dear, I have to say dear with you for so many reasons, it's not whining when many of us see the same things. It's just a matter of opinion. If Céline were to hallucinate on drugs and jump of a bridge, I'm getting the sense you might make sense of it, support her decision and attack us for critiquing other wise. Just a hunch, anyway, carry on my dear!

The photo shoot for D'elles is in a league of its own! Never seen her more elegant and feminine.

Her best era! Photoshoot, the physical album, the disc and packaging was top notch and exquisite, and her 2 tv specials she never looked better! ...Minus that

Like I said, the pic looks good to me whether you or whoever dislikes it. If she looked like a mutated horse or a reassembled hyena, I still would.. not.. care. If it was perfect or had no photoshop at all, I'm sure you would've been here to immediately dissect everything you find wrong with your photo editing expertise. Many of you can see whatever you want, and a bulk of others can see otherwise, but when they give us these photos, especially when they're so-called long awaited, everyone (you included) is quick to (negatively for some reason) disregard everything she/they do. Hence why I say "WHINING" Cause that's what it is, point blank period. I'm sure if Celine was to release something everyone has been asking for for years, such as another Christmas album, you'll be the first one here saying it flopped or fell short compared to the last. Reason being, you are a lost cause in the aspect of "Gratefulness" Just a hunch of course, carry on my dear!

I agree! They should have been used and spread widely because these are the best pictures she has ever taken! Pure perfection. Unfortunately, most of them remained unreleased and for Sans Attendre drawings were used... How stupid is that? Sometimes I really wonder what people they hired for her team. I hope the new album is filled with lots of pics from this new shoot! On the last Alix Malka photoshoot hardly any of his amazing photos were used for the album. I am hoping that won't be the case this time.

And in the meantime, she keeps singing more covers here and there, everywhere she goes. The same way she puts on the next best most expensive model by Armani or Versace, she tries the next random cover there is, either on her concerts, awards, or in the recording studio. As if she was a mannequin for songs again.

 

Did she forget she is a singer, above all? And that singers have to be creative to evolve at some point in their careers, not just imitate what others did already?

 

Where did the artistry go in Céline's career?

Do you think that she will do something great every month of the year? someone can be happy of doing something great once in a lifetime. That's my take on things. But you want something more i guess, to each his own.

The same freshness, the same originality It's no discovery that her French career has been much more creative and they've always taken more care of its content than the English repertoire. Of course we can. The correlation between both worlds -photos and songs- couldn't be more effective and descriptive today. What does another Alix Malka photoshoot add? Does it bring something new, compared to the 2012 pictures? It's just more of the same posing, it says nothing new. Same happens with some of the covers she's recording lately (TSMGO?...): they add absolutely nothing to her already known live performances. That's why I said she's like a mannequin today, both in songs and in pictures: she's just posing for the creations of others, but rarely offering little new as an artist.

 

The use and the abuse of her voice and her image for the creations of others is there. Too many covers, too many black and white photoshoots, too many Alix Malka... all in all, too many of the same. I'm not the first fan to say it's tired of seeing the same pictures recycled over and over again for everything, and missing some more creativity in her team.

 

Aren't you pleased with this words? Well, as always, it's MY opinion

there was some great things on her last english album, it is just that there is not as much appreciation. But it's true the french side have been more original. The quality is always there. I'm sure that we will see a new anglo Celine shortly, the best is yet to come.
