Great!! Every other show she's on is a bonus fot her album promotions! Tho I'd love to hear her sing new songs, i'd also would agree on live versions of TAST, AYHGB, DSIAFCD or HX :-D

Thanks for the news! In general every album promotions during Christmas sounds great. It would be not a bad if there will be any chance to sing a live duet with Natasha St-Pier. I hope this Christmas special event will be officially confirmed.

Exactly! Natasha St-Pier is a Canadian as well as Celine (although not very well known outside Canada or francophone countries), but she has a really great voice and it would be a mistake not to take a chance on a duet with her during this magical event. So fingers crossed!

yes natasha has been on many shows dedicated to celine. there is a bit where she is singing woman in love and celine throws in a couple of syllables

I think so. Natasha St-Pier is a declared Céline Dion fan, I have an album where she talks about her favourite singers and idols when she was a child and she mentions Céline.

 

Also, both Céline & René supported the launch of her second album ^_^

I have some of her Albums.. her voice sometimes sounds like a young Celine..they are amazing albums! Really a must buy for all Celine-fans that like her French repertoire!

 

And not only the voice reminds of Céline, but the lyrics of her albums have a general tone of melancholy that is also present in many of Céline's french songs ^_^

Céline Dion revient en force sur le devant de la scène... hexagonale ! À l'occasion de la sortie de ses deux nouveaux albums (l'un en anglais, l'autre en français), la star chantera en prime sur France 2 dans une émission présentée par Michel Drucker et dans une spéciale proposée par Daniela Lumbroso sur France 3. Elle participera aussi à un grand show sur NRJ 12 pour Noël. La Québécoise y interprétera trois de ses nouvelles chansons et rencontrera la jeune scène française, qui reprendra ses tubes.

 

Céline'll sing 3 new songs and she'll sing with young singers (I hope these'll be her old x-mas songs!!) :clap:

I guess this means Celine will be taking part in the christmas special then, since she's going to be in France anyway's to tape the Michel Druker show?

 

I really hope we get confirmation soon, cuz i am so looking forward to hearing Celine sing another christmas song!! I wonder when it is going to be filmed.

 

If anyone has info on Celine being a part of this christmas special i would really appreciate it! :)
