Well, it seems the show scheduled for 29 September 2012 at the Pepsi Coliseum has been postponed, according to Catherine Emmanuelle from FM93 Quebec.

I saw it very early to be true

Impatiently waiting for them to confirm if the show has been reported. They said on Rouge Fm this morning (reliable source, the woman is a huge Céline fan), that there are rumours. So, I really want to have something from les Productions J. I find it weird that we haven't had anything all day... :hmm:

Celine Dion Won't Be in Quebec On September 29th!

 

Celine team are trying to organise a new date which could be at the beginning of October. Given that the concert is set to be reuniting several artists, notably Johnny Hallyday, Grand Corps Malade and Jean-Pierre Ferland, it’s been difficult to co-ordinate due to the other artist’s busy schedules who are due to join the singer, originally from Charlemagne on stage.

Just read on facebook - don't know how reliable this is.

 

Concert has been put back because two of the special guests, Francis Cabrel and Johnny Halliday, can't make that date. They're also trying to get Patrick Bruel to take part. New possible date Oct 10th.

Who are Francis Cabrel and Patrick Bruel?

 

Two very popular singers from France.

But I don't understand why they would be part of the special since there is no duet with them on the album.

 

I would LOOOOOOVE a duet with Francis Cabrel!!! :w00t:

Well, i'd be quite surprised if Celine only sang songs from the new album!

 

Not completely new - as she's already sang with them. But it'll be great if it happens!!

Since Celine will be performing in the benefit concert in Montreal on Oct 1st, does anyone know if Celine is still doing the Sans Attendre tv special?

I don't see why she wouldn't. Johnny Hallyday is in Montréal on thursday and friday, the fourth and the fifth. Then, they also want to have Grand Corps Malade, he's available from the 7th-11th at the latest. So, I think it would be sometime around the 8-9-10 if it was going to happen. I'm still impatiently waiting for news on this....

The radio interview is for France, not for Québec. She's just doing it here. She's only doing one interview for Québec that we know of for now... I'm thinking though that since they're advertising it, they might make some kind of annoucement while she's there... We'll see in exactly 24H...

Show at colise pepsi is cancelled. René said the album is really intimate so they want something smaller and more... intimate.

I guess there wont be any star academie contestants! Yes, thank god!

I don't think she means intimate in that way. I think she means that it's intimate because of the subjects that she talks about like a miscarriedge, man going off to war, death of parents, etc. She means that the subjects that she's talking about are sober and she doesn't think it's appropriate to do a huge thing. :)

the exacte beginning of my interest in Celine. It was stunning. This program was animated(not sure of the word) by Jean-Pierre Ferland.
