Celine's been my fav singer for such a long time really, I just cen't get enough of listening to her or watching her videos or staring at her pictures but still I happen to ADORE Lara Fabian, she's an amazing singer, her live perfomances are just OUT OF THIS WORLD, she's extremely creative and talented. I call 100% BS on this. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm saying those Lara fans are. I'm FROM the U.S., and the truth is.....Lara Fabian is 100% unknown here. She's nowhere near relevent enough to evenhave a boycott over. She had one hit in 2000, which was "I Will Love Again", but no one ever even knew her name. To this day, that's still the case.

When Lara had her "hit" in the US, she was interviewed by Billboard and I remember very well what she said when they asked her if she would tour with some other act. She said "I don't want to be an opening act"!!!

Her single dropped from the Hot 100 a few weeks later... She's rather full of herself imo.

And radio stations sure knew Lara wanted to replace Céline during her break...

Everytime Lara and Céline get mentioned in the same sentence some of you always have to misbehave. It just annoys me how someone can be so disrespectful towards people who they don't know in person. Why do you have to create this "war" when there is none between Céline and Lara. Lara often said that Céline is one of her biggest inspirations. She looks up to Céline. That's why she loves singing Céline's songs too.This is not about copying Céline. This is admiration. Lara focused the last years on the Russian market where she is very famous. Now she's coming back to the French market. What could be better than them doing a song together as a "come back"for both of them.

Lara actually never wanted to replace Céline during her break. That was the stupid marketing of Sony Music. Lara said several times, she hated it being put in that position. So please don't speak bad of one person if you don't really know the facts.Céline had the luck to become famous around the world and like Lara there are a lot of people out there that are really amazing artists but they just don't get heard everywhere.But this doesn't mean they are not as good as Céline.

 

 

 

 

This duet could become a real masterpiece of two of the greatest voices. So please do it and show the world what music is about.
