Thank you so much ! A small tour would be great in 2013 !!!! As far as the article goes, there's nothing really new. They talk about the two new albums, how Celine is working hard between Vegas and everything. Then, they say how Rene is not excluding the idea of doing a small tour in 2013.

I think maybe they are talking about the promotional tours for both albums... who knows, or maybe it's about the concerts outside of Vegas that René talked about a few weeks ago. But I agree, a small tour like the D'eux Tour would be awesome! And please not another big promotion, I just want it to be her singing on stage with the band and no dancers! Just like the old days with D'eux and Falling Into You...

PS: Isnt this the second time Rene has mentioned that their is a posibility of Celine touring in 2013......So this could be true !!

It's highly unlikely she'd do any shows in the US seeing as she is already in Vegas. If she does a small tour, then it's only fair that she goes outside of North America, where it is more difficult for fans to travel all the way to Vegas.

If it's a small tour, she'd most likely just hit up the major cities on each coast in the US [new york and LA] and then a few around the world. I can't see her doing anymore than maybe 20 shows, beings she'd still be in Vegas. How many shows did the Deux tour have? And it'd be so cool to have small venue, toned down shows.

Now whilst i'm sure they are ok with the odd one off concert - Jamaica for example - i'm not sure they'd be happy with Celine embarking on any kind of concert tour whilst still under contract at The Coloseum. I dunno but I just can't see it happening until Celine's contract in Vegas is over.

I don ´t agree I don ´t think there is exclusivity with Caesars palace, René told it´s possible some shows outside Vegas in 2013 and also Céline answered about tour in France to TeleMagazine interview something like this "I will be more years in Vegas but there is also periods when there are no shows so we will see" we don´t know if this is true but I think (and beleive) that there will be some shows out of Vegas during her contract moreover as contract is for more years what could be 2,3,4,5 ... more years. I can see for example 20-25 shows, during spring in Europe and Fall in USA and Canada.

Yeah i agree Davey! The closest thing she has done is Sur Les Plaines where there were no english songs, but it wasnt a full CELINE DION concert! Thats what we need!

Its funny, cus we are all fans of Celine but we all individually want her in our own nation.

I dont agree, to a certain extent yes BUT,

 

Elton John plays everywhere even when he was in Vegas. Its not going to be a full tour maybe a few dates from what rene has said, this will not effect vegas at all. They even said becuase she isnt doing as many shows in vegas this time she can do other things.

With all of the attention that Celine got with Rolling in the Deep, I hope that opened her team's minds (especially Rene's) -- that people are hungry for THAT VOICE to cover some fresh, new, interesting songs. And to hear some different stuff.

 

She has absolutely got to branch out -- even just a little bit. I understand the "hits" should be part of concerts, but she'll be more respected to get a little more risky and creative.
