Statement regarding the raffle

Wow. I just saw this only now. Legal action needs to be taken against this woman. She committed a crime. Nobody else did. She did. She promised a raffle and didn't come through with the prize. You all shouldn't be handling this with your personal finances. It's not fair to anyone.

Wow. That fan meeting really did shake up the community, didn't it? Thank God the show was good and I made some great friends.

Legal action needs to be taken by the ones who organised the raffle as they have all the necessary information. As far as I'm concerned it's Internet fraud. Paying for the raffle prize yourself isn't fair on yourself and does not make things right. It does not take away the fact that money people donated was fraudulently obtained. Jane has not responded to my email so those in authority on this site need to act on behalf of the people who innocently got caught up in this Internet fraud before a complaint is made about the forum. How else will you ever get people to donate money or support anything in the future if you look like you condone previous actions by an Individual?

When I first read this post I swear it felt like ice cold water ran through my arms and left them completely numb. It's been 4-5 weeks and I still don't know how to express the things I feel I need to say...

Those who donated, and generously helped with organizing the event, did so 100% convinced that it was for a good cause. I believe in karma, and that what you put out there will come back to you, 100 percent and then some. I personally sent $300, and while I obviously hope that that money went to Celine's foundation and not someone else's pocket, I can't regret a donation that was made with the right intentions.

I also don't harbor any ill feelings towards Jane. I don't know her, but I don't believe this was planned. Things happen in life, we all know that. Circumstances (financial or other) change, and we panic. The correct decisions are rarely made in that state of mind, because they're not the easy quick-fixes. Whatever happened here, there's a reason for it, and I am in no position to Judge.
