You know, when I first listened the clip this morning, I inmediately had a dejà vu feeling back to the 1F&4T album, though I couldn't say the name of what song. Now I know, its so close to this (unreleased) song from the album, Quand Ils sont là

The problem of always working with the same team is that you run the risk of always sounding the same and predictable. And this snippet is VERY predictable. I really hope there are other songs in the album with many other new sounds and instruments, because as much as I love the 1F&4T album, there's no need to repeat onself

 

About the spanish sound, very good observation Claudette. I guess since we're not getting that spanish album "she always wanted to do", she's using spanish guitars all the time in her french songs

When I firsheard it, It reminded me of something Veneruso would do. and someone wrote here that it IS a Veneruso piece but I didn't have to read it to know it.

 

And since I dislike most of what that man does, this is no exception. from the 30 secs I find it quite mediocre, nothing moreial.

 

I adore Celine's french songs but this sounds very un-special. I hope I will be surprised for the better by the final result...

 

 

BTW, Davey - A new single is out. The french will play it repeatedly, and we'll be in Paris to witess it!!!! :D

Wow, I'm amazed they didn't use a photo of Celine for the cover - this hardly ever happens! The only others I can think of are ANDHC single, I'm Your Angel, and AWTBI (first Japanese single). This might be the first French single not to have a real photo!

 

I love the song, the sound of the music reminded me of 1F4T and her voice reminded me of D'elles too. I can't wait to hear the full song!

I think the cover looks cute and very uncelinish.....dunno if it's so smart to pick a coverart with no real celine on it as a first release but then again I really love this cover....we'll see if it works.....
