Would Celine ever do an Anti-Tour?

I just read that KYLIE is doing an anti tour with songs that are B-SIDES and rarities

 

I'd love Celine to do the same at least only one special show to release on a DVD

I think Barbra Streisand did something like that too a while ago. I like your list, Make You Happy was supposed to be included in the Falling Into You World Tour but was cut before the tour began.

 

I can't believe she didn't perform Rien N'est Vraiment Fini back in 2003-2004, it would have sounded amazing live. And I'd do anything to see her singing a live rendition of I Love You, Goodbye, just her and a piano... It would be stunning. About Where Is The Love, I can see her doing like an acoustic performance of this song. Something like the medley she did during the Let's Talk About Love World Tour.

 

Unfortunately, I don't think Celine will do something like this; at least not in close years. After reading For Keeps, I'd tell you that she would definitely go for it if it was only up to her, but there's a whole production team around her, including René... who didn't even let her change the place of My Heart Will Go On in the current show's setlist...

That would be really neat, but I have a feeling they'd find a way to stuff MHWGO in there somehow.. Maybe the "disco version"

 

In all seriousness that would be a good idea. Even if she didn't, I hope she'll find some way to perform some of her lesser-known songs on tour or in Vegas.

The only thing that she has to do is to ask us what we want! You know the polls that they do on the official website? Why not making a poll about which songs are our favorites? (with all her repertoire as options, not just her hits) and what we want her to sing live??

Kylie has just done shows in Melbourne and Sydney.she did one and a half hour's and 2 shows in one night.The UK dates are to be announced soon.I wonder what songs Celine would sing if she did do an anti tour?

I think for a farewell tour this would be amazing... as I honestly see her retiring around 2015.

Obviously certain songs ie. MHWGO, BYLM, ACBTMN, TPOL, LCMM, ABM etc will be part of it... but I can think of an amazing setlist!

Nonetheless, one of my favorites would be "Just Walk Away". There are many more, but that's the only one I'll name for now. I'd have to really think about which songs would be on my list, 'cause it would be a mile long if I didn't take some time to really think it out well.

as wonderful as it may sound, I don't see this happening. Even on a farewell tour the setlist will be crowded with her hits, not the b-sides or the songs we would love to see her sing.

This is my big dream!!

 

I don't care much about her world tours, since they all include the same old songs. But a tour with rarely performed/never performed songs would be simply amazingly awsome! That would be a concert I would spend money on!

That's the best idea I have ever heard from her! It was so refreshing to have it at the beginning at the Millennium concert, to have it "over and done with" and still as a welcome. To have it as an encore is not a treat, since it is to say the least EXTREMELY predictabel. Too bad she got voted down on this one.

That's not the case at all. The point of that type of tour would be to sing songs that were just album tracks. They wouldn't have been released as singles in any country. God knows she has hundreds of album tracks to choose from.

 

I'd love this type of show in an ideal world. But it would have to be done on a small scale, just a couple of shows. Maybe I could finally hear "If You Could See Me Now" live that way? I won't hold my breath though.

Good on Kylie for giving it a go though.

This kind of mini Tour would be more likely a flop even if it's done on a small scale.

 

It's the kind of concept that would only attract a few die-hard fans, that's why you will never see huge international acts like Celine, Madonna & Cher attempting this kind of project.
