Yes run like a river was never recorded of not that we know of...

The music we heard then was from an existing piece of music, probably japan as you say...

 

If they could let us hear a teaser we probably can hear the full song soon...

It says it is not new, it was recorded for All the way, and thanks God, I don'y want a cover as a new single

 

What a disappointment. I thought it was sth new. It is somehow, but..

 

The English album topic was hidden, there was no news and it was just post after post or rumors and arguing.

Yes I am aware of that. So that says it then, that the instrumental was a hoax? Or... did Dianne Warren write alternative lyrics for their track? Too far fetched??? Yea, perhaps.

I think it sound fun and intriguing. But I hope it's from an old demo… I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear all of the unreleased songs. PHIL SPECTOR tracks in particular!

 

But… with that said… I don't want this sound to be the direction for the new English album. She's got to tap into that bluesy, jazzy voice she's got going on with MR. PAGANINI. That would be the ticket to critical success and maybe even a Grammy nomination again!

What are the PHIL SPECTOR trakcs?

 

The "Phil Spector Tracks" are songs that Celine had recorded for "FALLING INTO YOU" with Phil Spector as producer, "River Deep, Mountain High" being one of them. There was some kind of falling out between Celine, Rene and Spector and Spector seized the rights to publishing the songs. Phil Spector was the creator of the wall of sound technique used in recording studios. So there are a handful of songs that Celine recorded with him for FIY that will probably never see the light of day.

:) I'm glad that other fans agree! Her voice is so well suited for those types of songs. They're not as vocally demanding (for live performances). And if she mixes some belting with her jazzy sound…. I'd be in HEAVEN.
