Quand Maxime Le Forestier rencontre Céline Dion

 

L'interprète de la "Maison bleue" a fait la connaissance de l'artiste, pour laquelle il avait écrit "Moi quand je pleure". Récit au jour le jour, par Sophie Delassein.

 

 

Larmes régulières

 

Une fois la maison bleue parfaitement bleue, nous avons filé en direction de l'aéroport à destination de Las Vegas, où une rencontre avec Céline Dion était prévue. Après une heure quinze de vol, nous voilà rendus dans la ville la plus kitch et délirante du monde. Vous trouverez ici des machines à sous dès l'aéroport. Nous avons senti le choc. Surtout quand nous avons pénétré dans les coulisses du Cesar Palace où elle donne son show. Pas gênée, j'ai photographié sa robe de scène. Enfin, l'une de ses robes de scène, sachant qu'elle en a sept.

 

C'est Maxime Le Forestier qui a mené l'interview, face à une artiste détendue et particulièrement chaleureuse. Ils ont parlé chanson, maison bleue, mais aussi du titre que Maxime Le Forestier a écrit pour elle et qui s'intitule "Moi quand je pleure". L'interprète et son auteur ne s'étaient jamais rencontrés auparavant. Ce fut donc l'occasion pour Le Forestier d'expliquer à Céline Dion pourquoi ce texte (sur une musique de Stanislas). Il a dit en substance qu'il l'imaginait ainsi, pleurant souvent, toute en émotion. Et elle de confirmer qu'elle pleurait régulièrement, tant de larme que de plaisir. A l'issue de la rencontre, son mari René est venu serrer la main de Maxime Le Forestier.

 

La seule boutique Céline Dion au monde

 

Tandis que nous attendions l'entrée en scène de "the voice", un groupe de français nous ont abordés. Ils venaient tous d'un village nommé Vivier-au-Court, frontalier avec la Belgique, où l'on pratique la fonderie et la chasse au sanglier. Ils sont venus spécialement de Paris, ont loué des motos, pour venir voir le show de Céline Dion.

 

D'après le fils de René Angelil, les Français viennent en nombre applaudir la chanteuse québécoise devenue star internationale. On compte aussi des québécois, des hollandais, quelques américains. Tandis qu'ils conversaient avec Maxime Le Forestier et surtout avec sa femme, une fille du village, je me suis rendue dans la seule boutique Céline Dion au monde. Un espace entièrement consacrée à une chanteuse, ce doit être rare. On y trouve des T-shirts (70 dollars), des stylos (10 dollars), une casquette dorée et pailletée (30 dollars), une photographie à tirage limité (95 dollars). La boutique marche très bien, paraît-il.

 

Une très jolie surprise

 

Enfin, nous sommes allés prendre place dans la salle du César Palace, deux fois l'Olympia et une scène large comme celle du Palais des Congrès à Paris. Un rideau blanc monumental s'effondre sur la scène après que Céline Dion ait chanté sa première chanson. Le reste du temps, elle va "performer" comme on dit ici. Le répertoire est large, il va de la chanson générique de "Gold Finger" à la valse de une très jolie surprise Cendrillon en passant par "Ne me quitte pas" de Jacques Brel qui lui arrache une larme. Une fois le spectacle terminé, nous nous retrouvons autour d'une machine à sous, tous d'accord sur un fait : cette femme-là est une bête de scène, une grande perfectionniste, une voix éblouissante en live.

 

Epuisés mais ravis de cette drôle de journée, nous perdons quelques dollars au machines à sous avant d'aller se coucher à l'hôtel "Paris", sis sous une Tour Eiffel modèle (à peine réduit) réduit face à laquelle se trouve une reproduction de l'Arc de Triomphe moins la tombe du soldat inconnu. Aujourd'hui, une très jolie surprise attend Maxime Le Forestier. A demain pour ceux qui souhaitent en savoir plus.
