Javito Posted March 31, 2011 at 10:17 PM Posted March 31, 2011 at 10:17 PM (edited) Random again... just like the new show... So its how they like to do things now, to their own free will! I guess that after this we can expect to see her any day soon presenting an award in her son's end of term party Well I think its a good idea, the more she's out of the Colosseum cage and goes to Awards, presentations and whatever public event, the better for her career. Let the industry know that you're alive and still active Oh god I'm afraid we will get an country album after this!!!!Inspired by blablabla Etc etc etc... YEAH! I'm too afraid of what she may see/pay her attention to, given the last example of the new show with the orchestra idea taken from Les Plaines concert, Stevie Wonder and James Bond, Anne Geddes photos taken to RC in 2001, Cirque du Soleil in 2000... I'm afraid of her! Careful what inspiration you get Céline! Other than that I think its a good move. Thank God this schedule allows her to do these things, and hopefully we can see her travelling outside Las Vegas to other events too! Edited March 31, 2011 at 10:27 PM by Javito Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

nuts2you Posted March 31, 2011 at 10:52 PM Posted March 31, 2011 at 10:52 PM I really don't think this will be live, . Don't forget it takes her awhile to get ready, and she need to feed her little one as well, that need time to. So I think she will only do a hr or so, then leave for her show, Now will she drive down to MGM. Quote
celine-rc Posted March 31, 2011 at 10:58 PM Posted March 31, 2011 at 10:58 PM I'm actually going to watch it. I usually don't but there's a first time for everything! I can't wait to see her! It is a surprise and quite a bit unexpected. Well, that's our Céline! Am I the only one who can imagine Céline on a mountain with that little dress yoddling? It just seems like it fits her soo well! celine-rc Posted March 31, 2011 at 11:14 PM Posted March 31, 2011 at 11:14 PM They just mentioned it on ET Canada! Even if I'm not into country, I'm quite exited. She already did country and she was cute! Just a whole album would be a bit much. This one song was enough. I know , what I mean is that it was a rare moment in her career because of the song, that it is completely different from what we're used to listen usually I love it precisely its different Quote "Hush, now... Rossum89 Posted April 1, 2011 at 12:06 AM Posted April 1, 2011 at 12:06 AM So excited about this! Love country music like no other! I want her to introduce Martina McBride and say "And now, singing her brand new single "Teenage Daughters," the country music version of me, Martina McBride." For those who don't know, Martina is often referred to as the Celine of country music. And it's not a stretch. RomualdlovesCeline Posted April 1, 2011 at 02:02 AM Posted April 1, 2011 at 02:02 AM (edited) Actually, That's Just the Woman in Me from TC album is very country-oriented. I'm looking forward to see her; Celine did do some randomness in her past when she introduced the best rap album or act to 50 cent in 2003 at the Grammys; though she never did a rap album Edited April 1, 2011 at 02:03 AM by RomualdlovesCeline Quote

RLAAMJR. Posted April 1, 2011 at 08:33 AM Posted April 1, 2011 at 08:33 AM I would like Celine to sing one of Shania twain's songs. or songs from Faith Hill Quote
smash Posted April 1, 2011 at 08:38 AM Posted April 1, 2011 at 08:38 AM This is great. She should be able to present in person, as long as she is close to the beginning. I think Celine would be fantastic at singing Country/Pop. She just seems to have the gift of being able to sing any type of music. In H.E.A.R.T with Elton John, that Rock 'n Roll song she sang, dont know what it's called, it was fantastic. Our girl can do anything. You guys are sooo lucky to be able to see all these shows thats she is in on TV. We sit with sweet nothing here of Celine on TV. Quote
Your_Su_Phu Posted April 1, 2011 at 09:07 AM Posted April 1, 2011 at 09:07 AM The irony is that due to Celine's accent and awkward phrasing, people have often said throughout the years that she sounds a little country (vocally) Quote
vivezpouraimer Posted April 1, 2011 at 10:54 AM Posted April 1, 2011 at 10:54 AM This is so unexpected! And as far as country goes, I seriously doubt she will, but I have always thought she could do amazing things with country music. Her voice has a great twang in some songs (like Acadian Driftwood!). And do you remember when she was on that French TV show (the comedy and the name is escaping me right now) and she parodied a country singer? I played it over and over, because it was funny but so brilliant sounding!! Anyway. Very weird, but I'm just happy to be able to see her!!! Quote
ashleylovesceline Posted April 1, 2011 at 11:19 AM Posted April 1, 2011 at 11:19 AM Didn't expect that, but YAY! Quote
