Im soooooo happy right now!!! I too recieved confirmation for the show!!!! Now the mad dash to find a flight and hotel...Celine, Oprah and Chicago here we come!

Regarding Air date:

 

I was watching Oprah on the 2nd and one of the guests said "it's your birthday tomorrow" to Oprah meaning Jan. 29..... so that specific episode was taped 5 days before being aired... SO CAN WE EXPECT TO SEE CELINE's EPISODE ON FEB. 21??

I went to the Celine taping on Oprah last February for Through the Eyes of the World.

Based on reviews from previous years, cameras are not allowed, they are very strict about that. You have to leave your cameras, mobile phones and other electronic equipment at the "check in" and can only pick it up after the taping is over.

Such a shame they're not meeting in Vegas. What can Celine possibly discuss with Oprah that she hasn't during one of her last 200 appearances on her show? Yes, the twins, but do we really want a repeat of 2002's episode? I want Celine showcasing that amazing voice of hers. The Vegas episode in 2003 was amazing...I was truly hoping we'd get something similar. I guess they want to plug TC: The Concert since it never had the chance to get an 'Oprah promotion.' Or I would venture to say Oprah is so busy this season that she probably does not want to travel to Vegas and that in the next few weeks Celine will be in rehearsals.

 

Have you guys been watching Season 25 on OWN? If Oprah is anything like she appears behind the scenes, then she must really be bored with seeing Celine by now.

The info they sent me specifically says that cameras & phones are not allowed. However, I went to a taping of the Ellen DeGeneres show once and they had people check their camera but we got to keep our phones in our purses under the seats, but we were told to turn them off... I felt like that was kinda risky, cos someone always screws that up and their phone inevitably rings... didn't happen when I was there though. And I snuck and took a picture of the studio as we were waiting to file out.

 

As far as the taping, it says we are show "B", there is a 7am taping (for show "A") and then we tape beginning at 11. When I went to Ellen, we filmed on a Thursday, and she films two every Thursday - one airs the next day, Friday, and one airs Monday, so Ellen is always just a day behind in taping. So I was thinking that the show could air either Thursday or Friday if Oprah's schedule was like Ellen's. Who knows.

 

Going shopping today for a new shirt to wear today!! So excited!

 

Oh to the other ladies who are going - from my experience on Ellen, the way she did it, it was first come first serve with the seating, so get there early!!! You get in line to check in and they hand you a number and it's based on whoever gets in line first. You keep those numbers and they write down what name is what number. They line you up by number when it's time to go to the studio and then they make quick adjustments for those people who Ellen had special surprises for. But the girls who were first in line sat in the front.

 

I don't know if it will be similar or not, but I know we are going to get there early! haha. We've been trying to figure out what's going to happen on the show!!!

anyone watched Oprah's new network OWN? They have a show called "Season 25 Behind The Scenes" and they select shows from this last season of the oprah show and show how the show was put together and it's like a behind the scenes, or making of the oprah show. Maybe with this Celine episode they will have a behind the scenes episode!

 

i hope they show Celine rehearsing.. like last time for the A New Day Oprah show..

 

 

I've been thinking about this too!! I really hope so!!
